My boyfriend and I, along with a friend, stayed here for 2 nights as we were going to a wedding in the local area. We received a very warm welcome and checked into our room with ease. Rose Corner is located in the village of Impington, a few miles outside of Cambridge - a very picturesque village with a small selection of shops and country pubs. It is situated on the end of a cul-de-sac with a well maintained garden and a good sized parking area in a very quiet residential area. The B&B is home to a very cute Cairn terrier but he seemed quite indifferent to people and was well behaved.
Our double room was of a good size with TV, hairdryer, ensuite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities. The rooms were cleaned every day and were spotless - clean towels were laid out and tea/coffee/biscuits were replenished. The bed was very comfortable and we got a good nights sleep even though the B&B was quite full.
The breakfast was very tasty - wide choice of cereals, fruit juice, cooked breakfast, toast, tea/coffee. My only criticism would be that the cooked breakfast could have been a little more generous - it looked quite sparse on the plate but was cooked very well - though I suppose it depends on what you like for brekafast.
We would definitely stay here again - quite close to Cambridge but without having to put up with the hustle and bustle of staying in Cambridge itself and also very reasonable at £60 per night for a double room and £30 for a single room.
