We went here for the first time tonight, and we were pleasantly surprised!

We ate inside, and it is super small. They do take reservations, so something to keep in mind if you want an outdoor seat, or are pressed for time.

I found it very interesting they ran out of limes while we were there…and the waiter told us that. I ordered the Pewaukee Beach drink…that was delicious. We ordered the chips and guac…the waiter recommended the seasoned chips….go with those!

All three entrees were very flavorful.
I agree with the other review that it is a bit pricy. For three people, it was $70+ after tip, and the plates are very very small…but you pay for the view!

The good: Location. This restaurant is located on the Pewaukee lakeshore. It overlooks the lake and you can watch the boats go by. The service is good and wait staff very friendly.
The rest: Go sit on the beach park bench and save your money. Store bought chips. If you order a soda, you get a can. Food is just bad and WAY overpriced. One reviewer said they are just feeding the summer crowd and that's exactly right. Five of us had lunch and no one enjoyed it at all, and then we got the bill and felt robbed. We won't be back.

One last thing: the furniture is cheap and the tables and chairs wobble to the point of frustration.

Across the street from the Pewaukee lake. Bistro style setting outside with great views of the lake. Also indoor dining available. Nice vegetarian options on the menu as well as meat. Food was delicious, presentation was good, and their spicy chips with guacamole were outstanding! We loved it, will definitely be back. Casual dining if you decide to spend some time at the lake beach.

Found this gem of a Mexican Restaurant on a business trip in Waukesha, WI after a round of Golf (I was caddying) with some US colleagues at a nearby Golf Course.

Restaurant was quite busy for a Monday evening but had a few tables to choose from. Atmosphere was great and service from waitress was very good.

My Jumbo Shrimp (prawn) Tacos were great, although not a huge size they were really tasty and my colleague said his Cheese Quesadillas were good (and much more substantial).

Some great beers from the Cerveceria Mexican brewery "Day of the Dead" range - I had one called "Hop on or Die" which was fantastic - very "hoppy" - apparently contains centennial, cascade, fuggle, saaz, goldings and willamette hops.

Great value too - Bill for both of us came to just under £20.

Very Nice service,, great view of the lake,, However the food,,, as it says,, MEH, not good,, not bad,, just Meh,, not that it is cooked bad,, how they cook it is fine, but not what you would hope for, plenty of other Mexican places to eat, that actually are very good and appetizing,, this is just to feed the summer crowd,,,but, like I said, very nice service, and well, I would stop for a lake side drink,, Skip to the Food as it is "MEH-Mexican" Oh, one last point,, if you have any people with disabilities in your family or party, don't go here, no place for them outside, and inside to tiny, can't move around,, Just and FYI.
