Okay, I knew that Culver's had great custard ice cream, but who new about the excellent grilled chicken breast used on the salads? Everything cooked fresh. Great "fast food" place to eat. (Rhinelander, Wisconsin location)

“Dont go there if they are busy, you' ll wait an hour to get cold food.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2014 via mobile

We stopped on our way home from camping. they were busy but ive NEVER waited so long for fast food. when people that were behind us in line got their food, my husband went up to see what was taking so long. our food was sitting on a tray and they said it was still waiting for fries. hmmm, they had just put a bunch of fries in bags for he drive through... They clearly dont have a system in place for when its busy. probably wont ever stop there again.

“Decent location”

Good place to stop while in Rhinelander and feeling the need for a Butterburger. We have always had good service here and the food is always good. The custard and shakes are so yummy; maybe not so good for your waistline :)

“Food okay, service not typical.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 October 2013

I am used to Culver's service excellent always. I may just have come at the wrong time, but should it matter? The food was typically good for the type of restaurant this is. The server however seemed a bit spacy. Patron next to me ordered a malt - and noticed as I did that he did not put malt powder in. Asked server when he was handed the product, this is a malt, correct? Server sort of mumbled a yes of some sort. Patron tried the product and confirmed it was not so he handed it back and said this is not a malt. Server said, oh, you wanted a malt? and shuffles back and now makes it right, brings that one back and with no apology or comment hands it to the patron and says - you just wanna keep that other one? Now frustrated patron left without answering. Now - while all this is happening, customers are coming up and there is no one to wait on them. As that is happening, two workers come by announcing loudly enough that it is 8 o'clock and "we are outta here" while customers were standing at the counter and could clearly hear this. By the way, the asst manager might have witnessed this all while emptying all the registers and not acknowledging any of us. Just didn't feel like a "service friendly" place that it usually is and prompted me to post this; I dislike posting negatives and hope that it was only an aberration not a usual at this location.
