First thing I always check when we enter our hotel room is the bathroom. It was immaculate! So was the beautiful whirlpool tub in our room and everything else. Bed was very comfortable. Friendly staff and nice Country Kitchen Restaurant attached. We'll be back.

We were expecting an old very dated Ramada in this little town. Yes, it is a bit dated but the rooms have been updated. Our room did have a nice flat screen TV...but no HD...and no menu options e.g. pay for movies. The front desk was very helpful and nice, for example they provided some rags to clean off our motorcycles. The "bar" service was a little "different"...one older lady bartender seemed more interested in wondering around the room and talking to locals at a wedding reception than staying behind the bar and providing drinks to customers...oh well, small town thing I guess.

The restaurant on site (Country Kitchen I think) had very good food at a reasonable price.

Room Tip: We got the best rate online...

booked a top of the tier room--fireplace, whirlpool, . . . and trundle beds? the bed was not comfortable. Be careful if booking thinking you're getting a luxury room, because the beds don't follow through with the rest of the rooms format. It was our wedding night and we had a hard, plastic bed.

Thank you for your comments. Comments like these help us improve to make our hotel better. Our suites have the murphy beds that come down from the wall and we are making some changes to these beds to make them better and more comfortable. I apologize that you were not completely satisified with our suites.

To start, booked on line through expedia,. booked a king bed, had to settle for a queen bed. Wanted to go to a nice restaurant for our anniversary. You know, someplace with tablecloths? Town has nothing of the sort. Traveled to a town about ten miles away. Couldn't find Karen's supper club in a town with a population of 137. Settled for the motel's attached restaurant. "Special" rib steaks got to our table 45 mins. after we ordered. Med. rare was well done and well done was burnt. The morning shower was luke warm not hot. I expected more out of a Ramada. I didn't expect four stars but giving them a two would be generous!!!

Dear Guest
I apologize that your stay in our small town was less than satisfactory. We are so sorry for the mix up with the king bed. Apparently it was a mix up in our system with the on line reservation. We encourage guests to contact us directly or go through Ramada.

Our town does have some nice restaurants and Country Kitchen is one of them. We have passed your comments on to the retaurant and encouraged some improvements because of your comments.

We appreciate the feed back on the lack of hot water. We had a couple of other comments then and have replaced one of the commerical hot water heaters. Sorry you had to experience part of the down time.

We are so sorry you had a bad experience and took your comments seriously and have hopefully made improvements because of them. We hope you give us another chance to show you.

Best Regards,
Nikki Young

Just returned from a weekend stay at the Ramada and I was pleasantly surprised. The whole 'white house' thing, more like 'US Capital' though is cute. Each room has a number and a state name. Beds were very comfy while the room itself was large (one king bed in our room). The adjacent rooms (suites) had murphy beds, couches, whirlpool tub, fireplace and small kitchen area. The indoor pool was clean and warm while the hot tub was overly hot.

The on-site restaurant (Country Kitchen) was quaint and not overly priced. The breakfast buffet was simple but hot and reasonably priced.

If we ever make it back that way, we would stay here again. Very nice.

Nice place to stay. Nothing fancy, but microwave and refrigerator in each room. Heater was a bit aggressive, but I worked it out okay. It's hard to figure out the heater in these in-between months.

Country Kitchen is a nice dinner and breakfast place. I do miss the continental breakfast they had before they switched to Country Kitchen, but the breakfast was filling and not too expensive.

Safe place; double-locking doors. Bathroom gets really cold, so I always leave the door open between usesw so it warms up. Shower is large and has lots of hot water.

Didn't use the local wifi; Bongo was there, so I used that since I was a subscriber. Worked incredibly well.

As always, a great place to stay.

This is the former "White House". The remodel is very nice - the rooms and bathrooms are very clean, which is a real plus at this price point. The second night of our stay was a little noisy, but nothing unreasonable. I would ask for a room on the top floor. The attached restaurant provided a nice breakfast.
