My husband and I went to the Blue Harbor not knowing what to expect. The drive in was spectacular. This is a beautiful resort located right on the shores of Lake Michigan. At the end of the parking lot are several great resturants, mini golf, ice cream parlor and a river walk. You can sit at the shore of Lake Michigan in shore chairs and watch the boats go by. They have a pool with a tiki bar, putting green, buci ball, and at night a bon fire. We did not use the water park since we did not have children with us, but it looked great. Rooms were large with two beds, refridgerator, fireplace, table, coffee maker, and iron. Bath rooms were large with a big tub. They have a bike trail not too far from hotel that we took our bikes. Runs right along Lake Michigan. The resturants look over the lake with a great view. Food was wonderful. Starbucks in lobby for those who must have coffee. Have ice cream, fudge and goodies. If I had to rate this resort I would give it a 10+++.

My sisters and I had a wonderful 2 nights at this hotel. They have a variety of rooms to accommodate all sizes of groups. We chose a room with a jacuzzi, king size bed, sofa bed, fireplace and a balcony overlooking Lake Michigan. We felt we had plenty of room to move around. There was a small kitchen area with a bar sink, fridge, and coffee maker. The staff was welcoming and helpful. There is an on-site inside water park that we, unfortunately, ran out of time and never got to use.

Room Tip: Check out the many choices of rooms they offer, especially if you're traveling with young childr...

Came to the area partly for business (racing at Road America) and partly for fun (family time). We all thought Blue Harbor was lovely. Loved the walk by the shore, loved the Presidential Suite (spacious), and the kid-themed rooms were also cute. Did not use the waterpark since we only have a small baby and it was a bit much for her. Didn't care for the buffet breakfast, but there are other places to eat so that's not a dealbreaker for me. I think we would come back for a long weekend when our girl is a bit older and could enjoy the waterpark. Location is good, by the lake and the riverfront area shopping and dining. Perfect for a weekend away!

I enjoyed this hotel a lot! The beach there was beautiful, and the room was really nice! For the kids they had a mini water park for babies, and really fun activities such as.... Tye Dye shirts, jewelry making and other fun crafts. This was barley a hotel, more like a real nice resort.

Great for families - wonderful water park and things for kids.
No direct access to lake, and one of their prime restaurants, Latitude, is only open weekends.
But the grounds are lovely and the accommodations more than ample.

Room Tip: Top floor has high ceilings.

We arrived to this wonderful property and were taken away. We came for a wedding which was amazing. At check out, the front desk service was terrible. It seemed as the staff was not orientated to their position. I was accidentally credited a large amount of money by error of typing. We waited at the front desk for 45 minutes while the "manager on duty" (who never came out) fixed it. The next day there was no credit, but a huge withdrawal. After attempting to contact them, I had very rude front desk service and they were very dismissive. I ended up having to call my bank personally to help rather than any assistance from management at the Blue Harbor.

We stayed here in a 2 bed condo overlooking the lake for 5 nights in June. As I was working locally that week we needed somewhere to keep my wife, 4 year and 10 month old boys amused whilst I was gone. The Blue Harbor certainly did not disappoint. The condo was well appointed (if a little out of date decor wise), very clean and had the perfect space to spread out our life and lots of toys for the week. Just a few steps from the beach and the water park it was a perfect location for paddling and playing for the boys, and with excellent coffee shops and restaurants lining both sides of the river there was no shortage of little stop offs for coffee and cakes.

The main hotel lobby and facilities are really nice, and just recently remodelled. We did not eat at the hotel restaurants, but locally in Sheboygan as I know the area well. however, they looked inviting and bustling. The hotel runs an active kids club and the boys partook on several occasions with artistic and fun activities, as well as bedtime stories and marshmallow toasting round the fire pit each evening.

The watermark itself was not large but did have some excellent slides and fixtures that we all loved. We visited the Dells the following week, and this really held its own even if not on scale. The lifeguards were attentive and visible, and there was a plentiful supply of good life jackets. The best thing was that it really wasn't busy and on. It's afternoons we virtually had the place to ourselves!

Overall highly recommended for families with young children, particularly the condos - although top price they are well worth the extra space and privacy for parents and kids alike. We will return!
