“very comfortable”

We were in town for a wedding so we didn't spend a lot of time at the Inn, but it was very comfortable, clean and welcoming. The morning breakfast was great. The Inn itself was a former stable of a large estate. The rooms are large and well stocked with everything you could need during your stay.

This is a peaceful place on a quiet street with a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast was great. My son and I were the only ones there on a Thursday night. We were in town for a funeral and only stayed one night, unfortunately. Our room had little balcony which was very pleasant as the weather was amazing. Ruth is very nice. The public areas are lovely and make me wish we could have stayed longer.

We've traveled internationally and usually look for B&B's for our travels. We consider this facility as among the top of what we've experienced in our travels. This place was originally a horse barn, and was converted to residential living about 50 years ago. The current wife of the couple who own it actually grew up here. They live in the back of the first floor and have 4 beautiful rooms upstairs, each unique and roomy, with quality bathroom facilities. The only thing they could do to improve is probably get some flat screen TV's in here, but we don't come to watch TV, so it's not a big issue for us. They sit on the edge of town, close to The Bull golf course and highway 23 which takes you directly to the Sheboygan area.
The owners do a great job with the breakfasts, always having fruit, bread and entrée. The bread is always fresh baked, and the fruit fresh (in season). Since this place is so close to I-43 it serves as a regional lodging destination for us when we're in Eastern WI. Worth the drive.

My wife and I were attending a graduation ceremony at Lakeland College and decided to return to The Fring. This is the second time we stayed at this B&B. Both stays were wonderful. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and quiet. The hospitality of our hosts was outstanding. The breakfast of warm muffins, fruit and a fantastic egg dish was very tasty. We will definitely return again.

I loved The Fringe. Warm, inviting, friendly. The full breakfast was delicious. The whirlpool bath was just what I needed after 6 hours of driving. Ruth had a brochure of the area to give me and tips about antique shopping. I would love to stay there again.

We enjoyed a Saturday night at the Fringe - comfortable hospitality, friendly service and central location. We would certainly recommend this great B&B for a clean and quiet spot to relax.
The deck is a nice relaxing spot if weather permits, and Ruth and Paul and very welcoming.

My husband and I recently enjoyed a stay at the Fringe while many other lodging options were sold out in the Sheboygan area with the ever popular car race weekends.

The innkeepers were very nice; the room was large and comfortable. The addition of the in-room refrigerator stocked with water made my day. Also love the Aveda shampoo products.

The Fringe reminds me of the pension lodging that you would find in Europe - a clean, comfortable place to lay your head, large bathrooms with jetted tubs, nice innkeepers that will provide information about the area and a full breakfast (e.g. coffee, juice, fresh fruit, homemade almond Danish/donuts and a ham and egg scramble dish) at your desired time. The rooms and grounds are average in terms of décor.

Room Tip: Pick a room with a balcony if it is available - more ambience.
