My girlfriend and I were looking for a hotel that offered clean rooms at a reasonable price and we were happy to find that the Coachlite Inn meet our needs. We were vacationing in Door County and basically just needed a place to sleep and crash at the end of the day. All the staff that we encountered were very friendly, helpful, and they always had a smile on their face. We had an issue with the toilet not flushing correctly, but the staff quickly were able to fix the issue and even left us 2 chocolate bars in our room to apologize for any inconvenience. Other than that, the water pressure seemed a little weak in our shower (we were in one of the 2nd floor rooms which might have been the issue) but it was nothing that was really an issue for us. Overall I thought this place was a great value for the price we paid and I would definitely stay here again.

Our experience at the Coachlite Inn of Sister Bay was incredible. Our room was charming and comfortable. The price for our 3 night stay was reasonable. The owner greeted guests warmly and was very accomodating. The continental breakfast could be enjoyed either in the breakfast nook ajacent to the office or outside at the many bistro and picnic tables nestled into the lush landscape. It's location off the road is truly a peaceful retreat. We plan to return next summer !

I have stayed here 3 separate times and have been satisfied each time. I love the scenery and the hot tub is great also.

Stayed here the first three days of October. Seems to be a slow time in Door County because peak colors are still a few weeks away. The hotel was very nice. It's right off highway 42 but noise from the cars was not a problem at all. It's tucked back in behind some nice landscaping so you really don't see it to well from the road. The room was extremely clean. Some of the decor was a little outdated but it good condition. They had a free continental breakfast each morning consisting of coffee, juices, danishes and donuts which was ok. There was a big hot tub/jacuzzi with a covered gazebo type roof which was nice on the chilly October nights. The owner, John, was very friendly. I'm sure there are other properties that are nicer but the price per night makes this one a very good value. I would definitely stay here again.

I thought the Coachlite Inn was very cute and relaxing. It had a beautiful little creek running alongside some of the rooms. It was very clean (and I'm picky, being in the businees myself). It was a nice size room. There were 4 women in a room with 2 queen beds and we all had enough room for our bags, purchases, etc... Beds were comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Loved our experience and would recommend to others.

My husband and I stayed one night at the Coachlite Inn on Memorial Day Weekend of this year. We were on a road trip going up Lake Michigan, across the upper Peninsula and down around the Michigan side. We only had one night to stay in Sister Bay. I found the Coachlite Inn on the internet and it sounded charming. The room was clean and comfortable, the area quiet and the landscaping beautiful. The owners were very helpful and gave us information about the area. The town itself was lovely and if we are able to go back that way, would have no hesitation about staying there again.

It just wasn't what I expected . Very close to the highway ( noisy)
Desk clerk didn't seem interested in our needs .
Actually reccomended a dinner boat cruise that was one of the worst experiances of my life.
I guess they scratch each others back "up there"
