We wanted to get to Lake Michigan and based on a recommendation we went to Grant Park and so happy we did. First of all, it is a beautiful park with plenty of trees and awesome trails that take you along the lake shore with some pretty streams that run off into the lake. The kids loved this and there are several bridges to walk across that make for awesome pictures. They are not difficult hikes, very easy for young kids. The lake shore here is lovely. The kids enjoyed skipping stones out into the lake. Although we didn't get to explore the entire park, getting to see Lake Michigan from this perspective as well as getting to hike through the woods was a great way to spend the morning. Highly recommend stopping here if you are visiting Milwaukee.

What's not to love about this huge park? If you want the beach, you get it! Complete with Ferch's malt shop! Walking and biking trails check; playgrounds for the kids check; hiking trails check. Stay the whole day and picnic! We love this park! It's a completely different experience each time we go.

I like to take pictures here. Also there is golfing, hiking, and water falls. I keep going back there.

My dog and I went walking on a whim to Seven Bridges. What a lovely place, even though it was not at the optimum time for hiking. The trails were nice and wide, easy to walk, and the gorge was simply stunning - even at the end of winter. A great place to hike with your dog!

Grant Park is a very beautiful place for any time of the year! There's many interesting crooks and crannies to explore. Numerous trails are located from the Lake Drive and nearby to the lake area and also the beach on the shore of Lake Michigan.
Wonderful golfers head this way during the season and there is a clubhouse area that hosts a Friday Fish Fry there.
The Grant Park Beach has a food stand and provides an access for bikers, hikers, and others in the area swimming or otherwise.

We really enjoy driving about the park any time we can get here and oftentimes we've stopped to talk walks and inhale the gorgeous views! One of the best parks in the Cudahy area!
