Danny's Glidden Signature dish (Tenderloin on gorganzola toast points with Merlot sauce over all) continues to be my all time favorite way to enjoy a great steak! Hubby had a Ribeye, which was recommended by our server over the Prime Rib. Ribeye was a bit disappointing. This is our 4th visit in as many years to this little gem in the Northwoods. Most disturbing was the table at which we were seated. They keep their bussing stations (which are same height as the dining tables) for go-boxes, water pitchers, dirty plates, etc., in several places on the dining room floor and near tables with diners. So--we were stuck looking at our and other peoples used plates and glasses and food and on and on practically pushed closely into our table as we were eating. Since we had reservations and had asked for a "nice table" near the window overlooking lake, I wanted to ask for a different location. Hubby discouraged me from asking. Next time we'll know better and suggest you do the same if you end up in similar circumstances. Overall -- this continues to be our favorite go-to-place for a special dinner and special evening.
