Stopped here on a rainy Monday morning after camping at Hartman Creek. The place is very small and cozy with an eclectic "50's diner meets quaint coffee shop" atmosphere. We appreciated the internet connection and the excellent coffee selection. Very friendly service and the pancakes and french toast were wonderful. I did notice that the menu had some really fantastic low-cal and healthy options and was also vegetarian friendly. Really neat to find these unique little places in small town Wisconsin!

A very friendly place with good coffee and plentiful refills. Cute décor and speedy service. I ordered an apple walnut scone, but would not do it again--quite bland and doughy. But maybe I'm too picky! My friends ate the zucchini muffins and a gigantic reeses pieces cookie and raved about them. Overall-- recommend!

Our Seattle family of four met up with super-fun family in Waupaca, and as always, were in dire need of good espresso drinks. Cronie's saved the day. Conveniently located in quaint Waupaca, this lovely little place has high quality espresso drinks, tailor made to our liking with just the right amount of chocolate in our mochas. The lunch menu is impressive and food delicious. Thank you, Cronie's, for allowing us to enjoy our Wisconsin adventure without having to forgo our espresso fix we come to depend on as Seattlites. Well done.

My coffee snob family members from Boston and Seattle all met at the Chain of Lakes. After some initial research we determined Cronies may be the only place in Waupaca with an espresso machine. We returned every day for a week. The service was always top notch and we enjoyed a large variety of coffee drinks. There are few places in the Waupaca area that come close to satisfying my foodie tendencies, but the people at Cronies get it.

We go to Cronies for breakfast and lunch every day when we are in Waupaca visiting our parents at the Veteran's home, VA King. I like to try to stay on a healthier path and they are more than willing to work with you to customize your order. However, if you want to eat a standard American diet that is also available with good ingredients like grass fed beef as an example. The portions for breakfast are absolutely HUGE and if you order 3 pancakes I doubt anyone can eat all of them in one sitting. On Saturdays and Sundays they are packed with the locals who also love this restaurant. If you can go during the week you will not be disappointed with the service, atmosphere or the quality of their service. The owner is a rare gem and a wonderful baker!

Ignore the negative reviews and give it a try for yourself you will be very happy you did!
