“GREAT stay over the 4th of July!”
Reviewed 7 July 2010

We recently stayed here for four nights with our family of 6 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Large (all suite) rooms, CLEAN and well-kept. Breakfast area was always well-stocked and clean, even on a couple of the mornings that were quite busy. Would happily stay here again.

We arrived at 10:30 in the evening on a Friday night and were greeted by the sweetest, most courteous young lady, who I'm sure would have rather been with friends. She was awesome. The rooms were large, clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in at a hotel. My husband & I have stayed at some very exclusive resorts, but none of the beds compared to this one. I swear it -- WONDERFUL!! The pool was clean and even had a kiddie pool with a waterfall. And the hot tub was HOT, which is not always the case at many hotels. Every staff member treated us like an old friend. This hotel is 10 times better than the one down the road. We will definitely come back.

This is a really nice hotel with exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms. We only stayed one night, so we didn't get a chance to use the indoor pool, the hottub or any of the other amenities, but the pool area seemed very nice and family friendly. One thing we were able to enjoy however, was the complimentary breakfast in the morning. Breakfast the morning we were there, included hard boiled eggs, sausage, waffels, fruit and yogurt, and a good selection of pastries, cereals and juices. We were planning on breakfast out at a restaurant, so this was a pleasant surprise that we all took advantage of. This is an excellent value of a hotel. We will be staying here again, and next time, we'll be more prepaired to enjoy the pool and hottub also.

Stayed 2 nights. Very clean and convenient - feels very new. Spacious room with sitting area, comfortable bed, nice in-room coffee, nice desk, etc. Hotel is away from the road so very quiet. All non-smoking which is a plus for me. Nice indoor pool area with small adult depth pool, childrens wading pool with fountain and small hot tub. I recommend Clear Water Harbor or the Wheelhouse for lunch or dinner. Both are very close by in the Chain-of-lakes area. Oh, and Scoopers for ice cream out under the trees (a separate building in the rear of Wheelhouse.

My sister and I were looking for a hotel to stay overnight after a day of shopping in Appleton. I found this property online and got a great rate and booked the room. The room was spacious and clean; had a nice bath with a great shower. The hotel is located close to Hwy 10 and is super quiet. I would recommend this lodging to anyone traveling in this area.

We stayed here 1 night in February - the coldest weekend of the whole winter! We were recommended this hotel by a family member - and we LOVED it. The rooms were spacious and clean - all suites! The pool area was great - the kids had fun! The breakfast in the morning was good. The entrance to get to the hotel was a bit confusing, but we managed to find it. The website said they accepted pets, but when we got there they had a sign that said they no longer accepted them. Luckily we had not brought our little dog with us. Overall this is GREAT hotel and what a GREAT price! We WILL DEFINITELY stay here again!

If you are looking for a hotel in the Waupaca area, this is a great value. The rooms are very spacious (all-suite hotel), the bathroom was CLEAN (very important to me), and all the other amenities were appreciated. In fact, it's the little things that made this place a good find. The room had a free safe, fridgerator and microwave . There is a 24-hour grocery store minutes away so this was very convenient. You can buy ice-cream treats at the front desk which was a nice surprise! The front desk staff was accommodating with borrowing us an ethernet cable and having free copies of USA Today. The continental breakfast had the usual fare, but also make-your-own waffles, "to-go" lids for your morning coffee, and a pretty, glass dispenser with cold water.

I booked on-line at the hotel website for a rate of $52/nite. This is a great deal considering the other chain hotel, which I have stayed at and is very also nice, was $40 more per nite.
