Make sure that you look at the water park hours before paying. We arrived at 1:45 and paid for our tickets. The ticket booth lady did not tell us that the water park area would close at 3:00 p.m. Not happy about that, but my boys had a blast for the time we had there and the cost was only $25 for 3 of us. They have a wave pool, small kiddie pool, preschooler pool and and older kid pool. This worked great for us. I would however, skip the midway. Not worth the money.

It’s completely overshadowed by the other humongous water parks in the Dells, but if this water park were anywhere else in the country everyone would think it was great. We did.

We took six adults and six kids ranging from ages 5 to 9 on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Price was $6 per adult, $5 for kids 5 and under for the water park, plus extra to use the other non-water rides like go carts and such (which we didn’t do). It wasn’t crowded at all, and we never had to wait in line to go on a slide.

For our ages of kids this place was perfect, and they all thought it was great (as did the adults who had a great time even with all the kids). The park had a wave pool, six or seven different water slides, and a kiddie splash park with toddler-sized slides. Staff at the tube rental place was very friendly, although admissions staff should learn how to add and about customer service. Tubes are between $4 and $6 to rent, and lockers are also there to rent.

Several things made it perfect for us. Since it was only open 3-4 hours, there was no whining to stay longer, and by that time the kids were all wiped out anyway as there is plenty to do. It was inexpensive enough to feel like you’re getting your money’s worth if your kids are young enough to not want to go on the big slides. No reason to spend $30+/person (even with coupons) at the bigger water parks if everyone is tired after 4 hours. Those with young children should keep this in mind. Because of the price, we plan to visit it a few more times this summer. I do agree with some previous comments that parties with adults only or older teenagers would prefer other parks.

There were no carnival rides this year, apparently they cut those from last year, but the water park was great.

It was reasonablely priced. It had a lot of different things to do from pools to waterslides to games to go carts to carnival rides. I thought it was a great place for people of all ages. The employees of the park that we spoke with we all very friendly. We would definately go again.

Even if their wavepool is rather small in contrast to, say, Big Kahuna @ Noah's Ark or Poseidon's Rage @ Mt. Olympus ... even if the tubes for their Lava Flow tube slide are getting to be rather limited in numbers ... even if you wind up getting stuck on their speed slide just before hitting the splashdown area, Riverview Waterworld isn't a bad little waterpark for the Waterpark Capital.

And just be sure to look out for their new mascot, Dunkin Dragon; she turns up in "meet-and-greet" mode when you least expect it, usually mid- to late-afterlunch.

Yes, the dry rides are more like the carnival rides you see at the county fair, but the workers were very helpful including fishing out our daughter's boat from the bumper boats when she declared "I'm done" in the middle of the pool.
The water rides are not as advanced as the other water parks but there is usually a very short line. They have a new toddler water part and the water attractions for kids were as good or better than Mount Olympus. I think teenagers would like the bigger parks better, but this one was great for our young family. We went here the first full day ouf our six day vacation, and everytime after that we drove by our two year old said "I want to do that again."
Coupons are available on-line that cut the price almost in half. Food and drinks were more reasonable than at the larger parks.
