Mount Olympus has one main hotel and then like 30 smaller ones. the smaller ones are basically old hotels that they bought out and made their own. the thing is, they remove every pool at the smaller hotels that used to have one.
i stayed in building 25. i went to wisconsin dells 2 years ago and it wasnt a mount olympus hotel. they used to have an outdoor pool and an indoor pool. i came back last week. the outdoor pool is a parking lot! the indoor pool is gone! the hotel was empty. no front desk, no staff ,no people and nothing to do!! i checked out the next morning. every single small hotel mount olympus bought now has no pool. you are forced to go to the main resort area if you want to swim. and that has like thousands of people. NO THANKS. i am never staying here again. i suggest you dont stay here unless you wouldnt mind cheap rooms, no pools, and nothing to do. worst hotel ever.

Spent two nights in a standard room in building 26, for four with two queen beds. The room itself was one large room ( all we needed ) and a washroom. The washroom was super tiny and very dingy. There was mold growing in the window sill, we needed to open the window to have a shower as there was no working vent. The carpeting was old and worn out and pretty nasty looking, walking barefoot was not an option. The beds were comfortable and clean. The free admission to the water park and amusement park was the only saving grace for this specific hotel.

My daughter, son-in-law, 2 grandchildren and I shared a very nice room at Mt. Olympus Village. The kids loved their bunkbeds and we enjoyed the size of the room and the comfortable beds. The amusement and water parks were not crowded and we visited them all 3 days. Grandma even rode the go carts 3 times! I would recommend Mt. Olympus for a great family getaway. We also rode the Ducks and drove to House on the Rock while in the area. We'll be going back!

Room Tip: Rooms on the top floor are probably quieter. We could hear the people above us at times.

I decided to give this resort another try several years after a bad stay. I was even more disappointed this trip! The rooms are uncomfortable. There are no dressers or places to put clothes other than a small hanging area. Only two small wooden chairs to sit in and one luggage rack.
The water and theme parks are free with your room but they also sell day passes for anyone not staying in their resort so the parks are so crowded that you can't really enjoy the attractions! The parking lot is fenced off forcing you to drive around the entire lot to one small area to park. Finding a spot can be really tough. There are fences throughout the facility limiting access and causing large backups of people.
The hotel and adjoining park facilities lead to a stressful and frustrating trip.

The website and brochures make the rooms look like they agree amazing but they really aren't. The big headboards are just painted in the walls...and there isn't even a coffee maker.
The hallways are always busy, but the rooms are actually fairly quiet. There were some crumbs on the floor and ketchup on the corner of the bedframe when we arrived.
But really there was something got everyone to do at Mt. Olympus. We had 13 kids with us ranging from 3 to 17 and 8 adults and all of us would like to go back. The theme park is amazing and so are all the water slices!

My experience at Mt. Olympus this year was much better than last summer. Building 21 was nicer than 24! Our room was pretty cool--2 queen size beds and a cool looking bunk bed for the kids. It still took forever to check in but that is expected in the summer in the Dells. Did not go to the indoor amusement park at all this time. The indoor water park is average, definitely not the highlight of this resort. The outdoor water park was fun for my 8 and 4 year old kids, even with the long lines. My 8 year old adored the outdoor amusement park and went on every coaster. My little guy liked the kids rides and the go-karts, although I wish they had a little more for the young ones. Overall we had a great time during our 2 days there!

They bought all the old hotels along the walk and So they stick you in those crap ones. Ours was so bad not sure how is passes inspection. So they moved us to a theme room. Still a.bad hotel just had a pic on the wall. Microwave was broke, fridge was broke. Deity towels. Was so gross.not worth anything to stay there. The picture that they have on their site of the hotel room is deceiving
