We went in October, so the snack bar was closed (but restrooms were still open), and the walk was decorated with a Halloween theme. This was a stop on the Upper Dells boat tour, and it was an interesting walk back. Look down under the bridge, and stop during the walk and look up, to see very interesting rock formations. The tour guides did a nice job of explaining the history of how this niche was cleared out and made accessible. I felt it was too hurried - I could have spent more time looking at the rock formations - but the tour guide pressed us forward. Nice excursion and a chance to stretch your legs.
