Never listen to a review from people from other states, the reason for there bad reviews are probably because they come from a place where they dont smell vintage type things and furnaces make noises that keeps them up ta night. We go there every year for walleye fishing, and it is a trip to remember. the food/bar is great! The restraunt has a awsome aquarium where they have all types of the lake fish. The rooms have an uniqe log cabin theme, and a awsome fire place that makes the whole room feel like your in the middle of the woods. even know the place isnt caught up in the technology (telivison wise) they still have cable. If you live in Wisconsin or your an outdoorsmen you'll feel right at home, if your not use to cabins that smell vintage and the furnace keeps you up at night well then go stay at the Wilderness or Kalahari. But I truely recommend this place if your looking for a great fishing experience or if your looking to stay at a place with a great lake view.

We stayed a week in one of the riverview apartments. I saw none of the problems mentioned in a few reviews, we almost didn't go there because of them. The staff was very nice and eager to see that we had a good time. The room was very clean and well maintained. The restaurant and bar were very good, ate most of our meals there. Planning to return in the spring.

We stayed here for 2 nights August 8th and 9th I don't know what other reviewers are complaning about we were in the Motel room # 6 and it was great a little small but very clean and well kept although the walls could use a little sound proofing. But over all not bad it looked like a brand new place I will ad pictures later this is a place where you can take your Wife I do not know what that other reviewer is talking about, The restaurant is nice not high priced and the food is very good you don't have to leave the resort they have everything here

This was the 2nd time we stayed at River's Edge and once again, it was a great stay! There were 16 of us (11 adults and 5 kids under 4) and we stayed in the 2bdrm Logview Apt's......#'s 1, 3, 5, and 7. It was so nice that we had an enclosed balcony that the kids (and ourselves) could walk/run back and forth to everyone's places. The Apt's have all been updated....which was great since ours had yet to be updated last year. They provide almost everything for you..........fridge, range, micro, toaster, coffee pot, silverware, pots/pans, etc....... which is wonderful! The pub and grub has great food and the service was excellent. They were very accomodating and we will definitely consider returning next year.
