Our family had a very nice stay at Glacier Canyon which was part of the large Wilderness Resort at Wisconsin Dells. Our 2 bedroom apartment was like new with many nice upgraded features such as stainless appliances in the kitchen. The kids loved the double bunk bed in their room and the extra 1/2 bath was another nice feature.

We checked out all the water parks that were part of the resort complex, and even though we were there in July, we were glad that there were a number of indoor options as the breezy days made outdoor water play a little chilly at times. Our kids, aged 6,6 and 7 were big enough to do all the slides which helped to prevent any disappointment.

Room Tip: Glacier Lodge definitely looked like the newest of the buildings in the resort complex.

Stayed here with our 4 kids. Our place had 2 very large bedrooms,2 bathrooms, jacuzzi tub, a full kitchen, fireplace, and large dining table along with full kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer--it was beautiful and was just perfect for us! We will definitely stay in the Lodge again! We can no longer stay in the Wilderness hotel rooms--our kids are just getting too big so this was the first time we stayed here and we were very satisfied!

Room Tip: I booked through e-bay--someones time share--great price and great place!

Stayed in a multi-room suite at this location. The dishwasher didn't work, and the dish soap was not effective. (So, washing dishes by hand... great way to spend vacation...)

Anyway. The water parks are some of the better indoor ones in the area. But, over the top food/beverage prices. ($2.50 for a 16 oz Coke? I know hotels are normally more expensive... but yeah...)

Also, the check in/out times are odd.... and cause other interesting "issues" in their own right. For example, with a check-out time of 10am, people scramble for the luggage carts. The resort doesn't have nearly enough to start with. We waited an hour to get one. (We had 4 families to move out, with lots of luggage and X-Mas gifts since we did our Family X-Mas at the place.)

The beds are not the best. But, not the worst. Make sure you get an upper floor unless you want a lot of noise!

Overall, the place is overpriced. I would only go there again if my extended family was having another gathering there.

Very nice room, cozy atmosphere. Did not feel like hotel rooms. Skywalk to Wilderness waterpark. Waterpark was too spread out, lots of walking.

Room Tip: Do not rent on the 2nd floor. This is where the skywalk is located to the waterpark and it is noisy and has traffic

We enjoyed our stay at Glacier Canyon. The 2 rooms worked well for our small family. We appreciated the kitchen so we could have breakfast and sometimes lunch in the room. Our room was located near the conference center-so quite a hike to the waterparks. The shuttle service was quick and friendly-so we used that.

We went in October, so were not able to make use of the outdoor parks, but we really enjoyed the wave pool and the lazy river.

Room Tip: If you go in winter-I'd recommend trying to get a room close to the walkway to the waterparks. Or make use of the shuttle service.
