“Good with some drawbacks”
Reviewed 15 August 2014 via mobile

We ended up going on a cool rainy day. When we pulled up we weren't sure they were even open. It looked like a ghost town... there wasn't any staff present at all. When we got to the giraffe area we wanted to try to feed/pet it...the girl working made it seem like it was an inconvenience to help us. Many different kinds of animals to see/ pet and it was well worth going to. I just wish the staff was a little bit more helpful and friendly.

“Too CUTE!”
Reviewed 14 August 2014 via mobile

We got to feed carrots and pet kangaroos! Never did that before!!! The carrots were a little pricey but worth feeding the adorable animals and getting a close up to pet exotic animals. The best part was being able to pet and play gently with a baby tiger. Spend the $30, believe me it is well worth the price. Tina the tiger was adorable and even my niece's face when she petted the baby tiger made her smile. Which is not easy for a teenager with angst! The pig racing is hilarious and fun to watch who is gonna win. Will it be Miss Piggy or Hamilton? Definitely a great time and worth every moment!

“Great interactive fun”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

We make it a point to stop here every year when we come to the Dells and it has certainly become a must see.
Every year we're excited to see what has been added and this year we were thrilled to see the penguin exhibit. As always, the giraffes are a blast and the nursery can't be beat. The employees seem knowledgeable and friendly, unlike some attractions in the Dells.

“Animals up close and personal!”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

Kids and adults alike will adore this park. In the nurseries, staff are on-hand to show visitors the young animals. (We were able to pet a nine-week-old bobcat on the day of our visit.) In addition, there is really nothing more fun than feeding a wild animal; in this case, you can feed carrots to gentle giraffes and camels and purchase a grain/corn mixture to feed an assortment of other creatures.
And make sure you stay for the pig races. They are free and included in the price of admission.
The park is not as big as it seems on the map, and unless you have special needs you don't need to pay the extra fee for the train ride. However, the train is a great option for older folks and those who might need a little extra help walking.
We loved it and I would honestly drive the four hours from Minneapolis to the Dells just to visit this park again.

“Giraffes!”
Reviewed 10 August 2014 via mobile

Thankfully we received tickets for here free from our resort. The only thing that absolutely rocked were the giraffes. I love the fact that they can come right up to you. Other than that the park was pretty run down and not too exciting.
