“CHARMING!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2014

What a wonderful experience. I stayed for two days during the Longmire Days this past weekend. Wyoming all the way with a taste of unique, class, and just a delightful experience. I would recommend this small quaint motel over any in Buffalo. The art and the pottery is so resonably priced just as the rooms are. Clean, an atmosphere of peace and beautiful landscaping as well. I will make this my go to place each time I stay in Buffalo.

The room was clean and surprising large, if oddly laid out with a full and a twin size bed (even though I only reserved a single room). The bathroom was postage stamp tiny but whenever it was last remodeled made the very best use of the space. Oddly enough, my clearest memory of the room itself was the bathroom towels -- typical bleached-white hotel towels but they were amazingly fluffy and soft. There was a coffee maker in the room (thank you!!!!). The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and accommodating. While there's no continental breakfast, there was fresh fruit and a homemade hummingbird cake in the lobby that was the perfect pick-me-up before getting back on the road for several hours. My only "complaint" - the room was not especially soundproof. The morning after our stay we could clearly hear our neighbors packing up cars and driving out. However, since we were already up early and ready to get back on the road, this wasn't a problem for us. On our next road trip through the area, I have every intention of staying here again!

It was later in the evening when we arrived, but the woman who helped us with the room was super nice and friendly. The room was very clean and nice. The only downside was the water-saver shower head. I hate those. But, understand why many motels use them. Was nice that there was no window next to the door, which kept the bright lights of the parking lot out of the room.
We all slept well and was nice to have the coffeepot in the room for fresh coffee in the morning. Overall, a good place to stay! Would recommend to anyone.

Room is clean, bed is comfortable, has a larger shower than I am used to seeing in motels. Trudi is a treasure, I am most definitely keeping this phone number and address for future use. Book ahead, the rooms fill quickly. They have pet roomso also 10.00 per nite.

Great place to stay because it has all the personal touches of the owner. She was very friendly from the moment we called from the road. We arrived very late and she made everything very easy for us. The property is very charming as her artwork and color schemes are displayed throughout. Homemade goodies and coffee in the office. She also went the extra mile to help with our special request for long-term parking.

We only needed one night's rest and we got it here. Very clean and the owner was most accommodating--offering that personal touch that is only found in these kinds of small places. It is not a new place, but is mostly kept up for its age. Downside was that the a/c in our room was an old 'window' unit installed near the ceiling, quite noisy and requiring some agility to find a way to climb up to operate it to cool the room down until we could open the window.
