“Such a wonderful suprise”
Reviewed 7 July 2010

We took a road trip from Fort Worth to Yellowstone with two children under age 7. We used our card miles to book a couple hotels along the way at no cost to us. We chose this hotel for the indoor pool.
It was such a lovely suprise! Beautiful decore, comfortable rooms, nice, newer clean bathrooms and the food options on the property weren't too bad.
It has a rustic charm to the entire facility. The indoor pool was a little chilly, but the kids didn't mind. the enitre pool was no deeper than about 4 feet making it a perfect depth for kids. Three year old did the slide non stop and 6 year old played on floating alligator. A pool attendant was on duty, too, making sure there were plenty of towels and there was no standing water.
One of the restaurants had a bit of an identity crisis trying to be "upscale" but offering very regular food choices (not that we cared one bit!).
If you are ever on the road near Casper and need a good place to unwind and work off some travel energy - you will want to stay here!

Hotel and rooms are rundown and dirty. The so-called "conference center" is horrible. You can hear children playing in the pool in the conference rooms while trying to meet. Ceilings in conference rooms are stained and a/c units are so noisy it's difficult to hear the speakers.

My room was dark and dingy with damage to the bathroom sink and hair and dirt on the bathroom floor. The walls between the rooms are so thin you can clearly hear conversation from your neighbors.

I am not one of those who complain about creature comforts. But this hotel sucks! Rooms are dark and are poorly kept and looked shady. As soon as I entered the room, the first thing I noticed was that the toilet flush kept running. On the positive side, the bar is value for money. They offer free snacks with drinks.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The first night I lost electricity in part of my room and didn't have lights or the alarm clock. The air was also not working and I couldn't open any windows because my window was above the indoor pool. The next night I switched rooms and was left without any bath towels or remotes for the TV. When I asked about the remote I was informed that the housekeepers like to hide them under the bed or between the mattresses and to look there because that was all they could do. By the way don't ever look under the bed in a hotel, I was disgusted!

Drove down from Montana in a snow storm. After a 90 mile drive I was very glad to see the hotels of Casper. Best Western was just off I25. Check in easy and courteous. Room very comfortable. Bar was good for a much needed beer. Restaurant was expensive but, frankly, I was too tired to go anywhere else. Staff were friendly and food was very tasty. Good breakfast at reasonable price.

Good night's sleep. Perfect for what I needed.

The bed was not very comfortable the room was nothing special. The hotel was very noisy and the front desk did not resolve the problem for a long time (days). Seems to be a nice safe area of town. This hotel would be great for families as they have a large indoor water park. Overall I would probably stay there again because there are not many hotels that accept pets in the area.
