Out of town hotel staying 1 night as part of a trip. Very classic design throughout- dare I say old fashioned fixtures and fittings but very clean and we loved the room it was very very spacious and bright, 2 sinks one in the room and one in the bathroom and we had a small patio outside the room overlooking the pool. It was very quiet which is what we like. We were in the annex and had to go over to the main hotel for food but it was only next door so no problems. Friendly staff giving a warm welcome on arrival. Full amenities in the room
buffet breakfast approx 15 dollars with plenty of choice

Room Tip: Annexe rooms are fine and only 2 storeys high.

We stayed in over 5 motels in the same price range on a trip from Salt Lake City to Chicago and of the 5, this was the best. The room was very spacious and bright; we had a small patio outside the room overlooking the pool. It was very quiet. The bathroom tub was the best tub I have ever found in a hotel in this price range; I am a tub person and really appreciate a good tub! The water glasses were glass; how I hate those plastic things at other motels. We would definitely stay here again!!!

It's good, but not "very" good. We stopped for one evening on our way to Santa Fe and found all rooms off Exit 9 were booked! We were able to get the last king room at Little America. As others have stated, the hotel is definitely a throwback to decades past. That being said, however, our room was very clean and the bathroom had double sinks (convenient). The bed, unfortunately, was too firm and a bit lumpy (old springs?) for our comfort. Would we stay again, probably not. Sleep quality is just too important when on a road trip.

Get ready for that 1950's built possibly dead person smell, cause it floods the hallways. Rooms are okay keeping the 50's feel as well. Won't stay there again, but if you are in a bind and its this or an inn, do this. It's not that bad. Breakfast is NOT free, and Not good...

Room Tip: There are no elevators!!! Fair warning...

I have always loved the elegant simplicity of the Little America chain. While the decor is a bit dated... reminscent of the 70s and 80s... I love it! It reminds me of my Mamaw's house growing up... the furniture... the colors... the decor... I literally love being in this hotel room. The outside views are spectacular! You are on a golf course un Cheyenne... how much better can it get! Every room has outdoor seating and on the first floor the windows open all the way... 2/3 of the wall with a screen so you can enjoy the fresh air! The main building is warm and inviting with a luxurious gift shop. The front desk staff is not too friendly...a bit aloof... but it is a "resort". I would definitely ask for rooms in Lodges 3-5 facing away from the main road gor best views.

We stayed just one night in Cheyenne and this hotel fit the bill. The rooms had a nice feel and the overall impression of the place was a pleasant one. We ate in the bar and the service was good there. The room was clean although the corridor outside needed vacuuming. In the part of the hotel we stayed in there were no lifts to the first floor.

Room Tip: Ask for a ground-floor room if you don't like stairs!

Little America has always had a great reputation and years ago I have had great stays with them....so I thought about this before deciding to write it. We arrived around 8:30 at night intending to just crash and watch a movie in our room, wasn't going to happen, cable was down, okay we'll stream a movie on our computer using wifi, no again, wifi couldn't sustain a movie and even internet was rough. When we walked into our room the smell was terrible, we had to open the patio doors for most of the evening to air it out. Next morning we ordered room service, the prices were reasonable, the lady on the phone was pleasant, EVERYTIME we talked to her to find out where our breakfast was. We had to be somewhere at noon. We were walking out the door when breakfast showed up.....so I can't tell you how the food was!! Our toilet become clogged the next night. We called for help, the ONLY kid there could not get into the maintenance room because it was locked up for the night. He first told us we would have to wait until 7:00 the next morning to get fixed. My husband called again asking him if perhaps the truck stop or gas station might have what he needed, thankfully they did so I didn't have to wait all night! We were apologized to but no credit or comp was offered. The rooms were outdated but clean aside from the terrible odor in ours. We paid almost $600.00 for two rooms for two nights expecting better. We will not return.
