This cozy B&B is close to town and is absolutely perfect for a stay in Cody. Owners Terry and Sondra were so knowledgable about all the perfect highlights of this town. We stayed in the Rillas room and it was perfect for our needs.
The breakfast meal and setting was so delicious and provided an inviting setting with the other guests. This is a the perfect place to stay!!

Room Tip: All rooms were designed and appeared to be comfortable.

The best feature of the Salisbury is definitely the owners, Terry and Sondra Dishong. They treated us like family, were willing to pick us up from and drive us to the airport, despite our extremely early departure time. Very helpful about giving us information about the area. They couldn't possibly have been more delightful.

Other impressive qualities about the Salisbury:
-Breakfast was a feast, well prepared and plentiful.
-It is only three short blocks from the main part of town, but somehow still felt like a quiet place to get away from the excitement.
-There is very little street noise at night.
-Features a lovely front porch, and second story balcony for resting, reading, having a quiet moment.
-Rooms have a television if you need one (I did not).

The beds are a tiny bit firm, which many people like but I am not quite used to. But, all in all, I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else if I were in Cody!

Room Tip: The Mary Eleanor room is lovely, overlooking the back garden/yard

Wife and I had Rillas room. Very nicely furnished, very clean, very small. Owners show they care about their guests and try to please. Good location. Eggs benedict and potato casserole with fresh fruit for breakfast. Excellent.

Sondra and Terry are two of the nicest people we'd come across travelling around the States. Their house is lovely, good facilities, great breakfast, and Cody is a perfect base for visiting Yellowstone. However, the hospitality and warmth of the hosts are what makes the Salsbury stand out. And rates are very reasonable too - we stayed during the "boots and boogy"? festival, and they didn't inflate their prices.

Don't bother researching any other place in Cody - this is the place to stay! The Salsbury has four guest rooms upstairs with a shared bath, though even with a full house this did not present an issue. Breakfast is served at a common dining table, providing a fun opportunity to get to know people from all over. The food is fabulous as well (our weekend stay featured french toast with fresh blueberry sauce and a delicious bacon/egg casserole, all with fresh fruit, muffins, etc.) The enclosed front porch is the perfect, cozy place to enjoy your first cup of coffee or read a book with a glass of local wine before bed. The inn is also just two blocks from the main drag of Cody, and you can walk almost everywhere.

Terry and Sondra are wonderful hosts who make you feel very welcome. We're a young couple who live far from home now, and sitting around their dining room table felt like we were visiting family!

incredible, comfortable, and relaxing accomodations & service. We were welcomed as family with open arms.Sondra & Terry invested in our time & experience in Cody as tho they were on vac with us. Without there knowledge of the area, we would have missed several exciting attractions & road trips from Cody. We thought the shared bathrooms of the B&B would be a problem, especially cause all rooms were booked. But we had no issues as there are still 3 bathrooms and1 was always open. rooms are comforftable & atmosphere is relaxed with a large quiet backyard to escape to if needed. Could not have found a better place to stay & will definately return to experience more of Cody, as this trip was to see Yellowstone. even with being about an hour from the park, day trips were easily done. we even found ourselves as far as Jackson Wy and still had time to return to Cody.Definately a place to stay if passing through or stopping in for a "month". Thank you again Terry & Sondra for making our trip Exceptional.

Sondra, Terry, and Bob are great hosts. We had some fun conversations with them and they were most accommodating. We jammed three of us in one of the rooms using a blowup mattress and it worked out nicely. Sondra graciously let us borrow some binoculars for the day and a CD giving some narration of the road into Yellowstone. Really helped us appreciate the area even more. The balcony and the patio out back are great for some nice relaxation. Thanks for the great stay.
