we booked the king cody for two nights, just to visit the yellowstone. the east entrance is about 60 min. trip away, this may be too much, but there are no alternatives.
the hotel is cheap (in comparison to others close by), our room (2nd floor) was ok, clean, quit (we hear the nightsbors but not good. microwave and refridgerator work well, the bed (in our case: king bed) was fine, the internet works perfect. the breakfast is small (they offered not so much), this may be ok in this class, in our case we are a little bit dissapointed.
laundry is cheap (1,50 in coins), partly new and works fine (after hiking this is sometimes necessary).
the dead and stuffed animals from africa are nice to see, but no reason to go there or not to go there. nevertheless we will definitively not forget this unique hotel in cody.
to the owner: go ahead with your quality strategy (nothing bad, everythink ok), from my point this is exactly what the one-/two days travellor needs (nothing more, nothing bad).
