we stopped here for 1 night and asked several motels around the town and the kings inn offers the best price (but i think cody is expensive - about 110$ for 1 night is not a good price...) the room was clean and ok, wifi was for free and worked. there was also an indoor pool and jacuzzi. nearby there are restaurants (Bubba's BBQ)
the lobby has a nice style with african animals.

We were on vacation through Yellowstone and stopped here to spend the night. We needed internet for a business GoTo Meeting in the morning. The girl at the desk informed us they had wireless internet in the rooms. They failed to mention how slow the internet is at all times. (We were unable to join our online meeting). Trip Advisor stated the average price is $55 dollars. We were charged $119 with AARP discount on a Tuesday night, they don't have rooms for $55.
Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean.
Continental breakfast is available, choices are very limited unless you like cereal. The fruit was from a can of fruit cocktail, boiled eggs, mini muffins, bagels, coffee and orange flavored water (juice).

That is the sign that greets you as you walk through the front door. However, after the caution regarding the taxidermy you are in for a very pleasant stay. The hotel has just been converted from a chain hotel and is bright and clean. The staff is pleasant and helpful and the rooms provided a quiet, clean place to rest.

We stayed here after a long, cold ride through Yellowstone in early June. It wasn't tourist season yet, but they had tourist prices in effect, so it wasn't a cheap option (I had booked in advance through a travel agent, so couldn't easily change it). The location is pretty good, and was close to other things to see and do in Cody. However, the rooms were not cleaned well (there were some very used underwear in one of the dresser drawers that grossed out my husband). Also, the beds were not very comfortable at all, and there were some stains on the bedsheets that made us wonder. The check-in and check-out were okay, but that couldn't salvage the poor room conditions. Better to stay elsewhere in town.

Although this is the only place I have stayed in Cody, while driving around town and looking at other places, I'm sure there are much nicer places to stay. I found the Days Inn average and a bit expensive for what you get.

On the good side there is a nice big lobby, and the girl at the desk was very nice when we checked in. The rooms were also a good size, we stayed in their family suite which had three queen beds.

On the bad side the bathrooms are small and dark. The breakfast was very basic, just two kinds of juice, two kinds of cereal, muffins, bagels and bread. The pool also looked very dirty when we were there, and the water in the hot tub was green...literally! Yuck! If I were to go back to Cody I would definitely try another place.
