What a great place. It looks like a plain log cabin, but what a surprise when you walk in.. A living room with a couch and a flat screen TV. A spacious bedroom with the best bed we have slept on in all our worldwide travels and a modern bathroom. No wonder this place is booked from Memorial Day weekend thru the summer.

we stayed here because they were reasonable and they had a better breakfast. we were very pleased. very cute and friendly. if you travel with a baby bring a bed its 10$ if you use theirs. there is just one person on staff so its a little slow getting checked in but not a big deal.

Room Tip: its as you come in from Yellowstone it took us a sec to find it. they are cabins some have 2 rooms c...

This is a fantastic place to stay! The staff was gracious and helpful, although a little laid back ( and there is nothing wrong with laid back in Cody, WY ). The desk people were knowledgable about Yellowstone road closures. The cabins were great. Crisp linens, softer towels and spotless rooms. The grounds were immaculate. Can't imagine why anybody wouldn't want to stay here! Awesome property! Try it!

I will start this by saying that after reading the negative reviews, I noticed that many marked this hotel low because the cost was higher than what they thought it was worth. I saw one reviewer say they paid $145--had I paid that, yes, this would not be a 4 star review. I'm not sure if it was because it was sort of "off-season" (early May) or if they have lowered their rates, but I paid $89 a night, and I thought this was actually very fair considering what other hotel rooms in the area were going for.

The rooms are actually miniature cabins. Each building has 2 rooms with separate outdoor entrances. The room was very, very clean and the decor was adorable. The pool was closed while we were there (likely because it was too cold to use anyway), and they did have free breakfast, but it started at 6:30am every day and we were out the door by 6am both days. The staff was very nice. No complaints there. There was also a mini fridge in the room and a little table with two chairs just outside the front door on the porch of the cabin. Oh, and the view! The cabin is on the far end of Cody nearest to Yellowstone, and the window of the cabin looked out at a giant mountain.

The negatives: ice bucket and coffeemaker are not standard in the room--you have to ask for them at the front desk. Not a huge deal but kind of a weird policy. Why not just include have them already in there? The shower was a stall shower--no tub--and a little hard to maneuver around, particularly trying to shave my legs. The bed, while very clean, was not the most comfortable I've stayed on.

We stayed here because it is right next door to the Cody Rodeo. We had read about wildlife after dark and decided to stay in town since we were attending the rodeo. This was the perfect place to stay. The beds were so clean and soft I didn't even spray our bedbug spray. The little pool/hot tub felt so great after hiking all around Devil's Tower and riding in a car that day. (We drove in from Rapid City, South Dakota)

The free breakfast the next morning was really nice. Homemade gravy and biscuits in a crock pot is all I remember, but I know it was good.

The pictures already uploaded definitely show what this place looks like, we stayed in room 128 a double bed regular room. Our parking space was small, no big diesel could fit there, but our rental Escape fit just OK. Other cabins had bigger parking spots. We were close enough to the hot tub just walking in the grass to get there.

We had a King bed cabin. The cabin was very spacious. Bathroom was a good size. No refrig or stove. They do have breakfast every morning. Location is right down from the Cody Rodeo. You will need to drive to downtown but you are in walking distance of Wal-Mart if you need anything. As for ice, they only allow you one bucket and you have to go to the office to get it. Staff and owner was friendly. We would stay here again. Cabins and village area were clean and well maintained.

We stayed at Cowboy Village in September 2013 and loved it. The rooms are clean and comfortable and are decorated in western style. The hotel/motel is right off the main road but we were not bothered by road noise at night. My fondest memory is sitting on the little porch outside the room having wine and cheese before heading over to the Cody Cattle Company for live entertainment and dinner. Would go back again for sure. Lots of bikers stay here and they are a fun loving, friendly group. Don't miss this place if you are in the lovely town of Cody.
