Visiting from the UK the Chamberlin is a delightful hotel beautifully renovated.
Great hospitality and our hosts helped make our stay in Cody so enjoyable.

Superb comfort in one of the garden rooms with an excellent bed. Central location was perfect. What more could we have wanted. Thank you.

Great location for walking around. Very nicely decorated and extremely friendly staff. We were in the suite which had a separate kitchen area with mini fridge and microwave. Very spacious. Fantastic outside garden area. My only criticism would be the bear claw tub with surrounding shower curtain. That was a bit scary for anyone with any balance issues. Big step in and nothing to hold on to once in. Friends in another room did not have the same set up. Maybe go for the more modern shower set up. Slept well.

Room Tip: If you want a shower, don't request the bear claw tub!

We stayed at the Chamberlin for almost two weeks for a business training, using the inn as a central meeting point. The rooms were ready for us when we arrived and were all unique. I would recommend double-checking with the hotel about what room you are getting when you book as some rooms do not have showers (these rooms have tubs instead, which is fine for a few days, but more difficult to manage for a longer term stay). I stayed in the honeymoon suite, which was a nice little house behind the main building. It was very quaint and I appreciated the quiet. The downsides was the lack of an overhead shower and that the doors were covered by curtains which did not appear to be very thick. I never tested out how easy it was to see through the curtains, but just made sure that the partition between the bedroom and the bath was oriented in such a way to maximize privacy. In terms of location, the Chamberlin is just off the main street in Cody and is within walking distance of many restaurants, cafes, and even the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. The Inn also has a hotel bar with a good wine and beer selection. The patio and solarium are great places to sit relax and enjoy the outdoors. The proprietors of the Inn were very nice and welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're passing through Cody.

My group, the Dude Rancher's Association Board just had our spring board meeting in Cody. We did something different this year and decided to stay at the Chamberlin Inn for 3 days while doing our meetings at the DRA home office nearby. What a fantastic choice that turned out to be. The Chamberlin is very comfortable, has amazing history, but what really makes it shine are the furnishings and the fact that everything works. The staff was very accomodating and efficient and all in all the historic hotel ended up being a perfect little home away from home for all of us!

Room Tip: Try the first floor end of the hall....213?

What an amazing little boutique hotel! Such an excellent example of showcasing it's historical presence in Cody along with each room uniquely designed to preserve the architecture of the building.

Would highly recommend staying at the Chamberlin. And go sample some of the specialty cocktails while sitting in the conservatory!

So comfortable, warm and welcoming.
Even though I live in Wyoming, I was still pleasantly surprised by this gem of a hotel. I loved the western ambiance of the decor. I felt like I stepped back in time about 100 years - but at the same time, it met and exceeeded all of my present day comforts and expectations.
You will love it!

After a long drive from the eastern entrance of Yellowstone the Chamberlin Inn was a pleasant surprise. The old inn and the old court house have been remodeled to perfection. The garden is a gem with a bar in the vacinity. The decor of our room was in keeping with the period of the building, the attention to details showed the degree of care that was taken. For the chocolate lovers of the world, each room had a small box of Belgian chocolates n a beautiful box. The owners were very helpful in recommending a restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The hotel was within walking distance to the town's other surprise the Buffalo Bill Museum/Whitney Museum.
