This is advertised as a boutique hotel but it is actually a small hotel with small rooms and minimal services. Rooms were adequate but nothing special; no breakfast provided; staff is courteous but do not go out of their way. Fancy chocolates and soaps were the only "special feature" and you could get an equivalent room for half the price elsewhere in Cody. The location (center of town) is the only plus for this inn.

This charming boutique hotel is Western Hospitality with an Art Nouveau flare! The Inn keepers were so gracious and put us in the upstairs suite right next to the library. Tho wi-fi is available, I appreciated the freedom to chose a book at 2:00 am when I needed a quieting novel.
Our son and his spouse got the Cottage--too cute to describe--and our daughter in law was thrilled to soak in the footed tub.
And then there was the garden; a lovely place to sip tea, read a book, or chat quietly. This enclosure is a delightful and unexpected surprise.
I urge readers to scan the website to catch a bit of the charm....it will convince you of the exceptional quality of the Inn.

We very much enjoyed the inn, the amenities, and especially the location. However, we were very disappointed that there was no breakfast items of ANY kind offered. Even the Holiday Inn offers breakfast.

We recently stayed at the Chamberlin Inn in Cody for one night and were completely delighted- and we're hardened NYC foodie-travelers. The owners were warm, friendly, helpful and responsive from making the reservation right through checkout. The Inn itself has been attractively rebuilt and renovated with tasteful simplicity and good design (and green) decisions throughout. It is immaculately clean, quiet, with many appealing, well-thought-through details: a little box of chocolates in your room (delicious- even by our serious chocolate criteria), really nice Italian soap/shampoo/lotion in the bathroom, lovely bed linens, a library, computer access, and a pretty and well-tended grass-and-garden area for sitting (or working) outside. It is centrally located in Cody, so shopping, dinner and breakfast were all a short, easy walk, and the dinner recommendation (they called and made our reservation for us on the spot- the Wyoming Rib and Chop House) was excellent. In all, absolutely worth the slight extra cost, and we would come back in heartbeat! The kind of place you wish you'd discover everywhere and so rarely do.

We recently stayed at the Chamberlin Inn for a couple of nights and we definetely recommend this place. It's centrally located, comfortable for the attractions of Cody (including the show in front of the Irma saloon, just few steps away, across main street), yet it is quiet with a nice and pleasant garden, if you visit in summer. The hotel has been re-structured completely recently by a couple who is originally from Cody, but travelled the world for long time and has selected an extremely pleasant mix of western-american tradition with some international touch. The rooms are comfortable: we were travelling with two kids and stayed in a "one beedroom suite" which easily hosted the four of us. What's even more important for us the place is extremely clean: it is the only hotel I have ever seen that explains, in the in-room brochure, the house-keeping and cleaning products used in the rooms. We stayed at the Chamberlinn on the way to Yellowstone but we would have happily spent another couple of nights there.

Stayed here one night during a long trip round wild west.
Easy to find and close to the main street.
Good garden to sit.
Nicely decorated - room clean - quite small tho.
Bathroon OK but we had a broken sink and could not drain any water away - to late to get a fix.
The bad point was staying on the ground floor and we could not get a good night sleep because of the main clock chiming all night Ended up being the worst nights sleep during our trip. So don't stay on the ground floor - avoid the night chimes!! Even the clock in the room was loud so we managed to move that to the bathroom.
We should have had a stronger night cap!!
Would be better if they served a light breakfast and a little more atmosphere - strangely quiet..

The Chamberlin Inn is a beautifully decorated and charming inn, located almost across from the Irma Hotel in Cody, WY, known for its connection to Buffalo Bill Cody. The grounds are spectacular....well manicured and landscaped and very conducive to relaxing and reading. The rooms are decorated with antiques and are impeccably clean and well equipped. Best part of our trip out West....saved the "best" for last! JR from Kentucky
