“Great place in a quiet little town!”
Reviewed 9 September 2013 via mobile

We spent 5 nights here! Very easy to find. The staff was friendly and the rooms were really Nice! We stayed in one of the cabins. Very cute and nice! The bathroom floor was nice and heated too! They treated it like a hotel, they came and made the bed, took out trash and replaced towels. Also everytime we had a chocolate on the bed! The only complaint that my husband and I had was the beds were to hard. But over all we were very satisfied!

So impressed with facilities from cleanliness and amenities to the friendliness of the staff. Our only disappointment is that we are only here for one night. The Longhorn feels likes it's miles and miles from town with its majestic views and peacefulness. The price is unbelievably reasonable. We love that it's open year-round and we will certainly return for an extended stay.

We spent the night here on our way to Yellowstone and ended up wishing we could spend a few more days. The rooms are large, clean and updated with a western feel (including the bull's head on the wall). The proximity to the river and the beauty of the area will probably bring us back.

An ideal location in sight of the painted hills. We had a great cabin and the staff were very helpful. Any minor problems were dealt with efficiently and with good humour. Dubois is a short drive away and it is a charming Western town. The Longhorn Ranch recommended the Chimney Rock Arena as we wanted to ride some horses and we had a brilliant time there.

We stayed 10 nights at the Longhorn Ranch with our horses. The location was close to the town of Dubois and made it easy for us to get supplies or a meal in town. I have never been to a cleaner campground or one where ALL the employees were so friendly. Every employee we meet, were very professional in their work, but made us feel like a good friend. They all went out of their way to make our stay the best. Very quiet. We will be back even though it is a 3 day drive.

Room Tip: We stayed in the campground. There was no bad sites.

The Longhorn Ranch was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. We had the studio cabin and it had everything we needed. Comfy bed, kitchenette with appliances, leather couch, flat screen TVs, bathroom with heated tile floor and a nice screened in back room. Housekeeping would come in and clean everyday. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The setting was pretty and peaceful. It is very isolated, with Dubois being the only town for 75 miles but it is only an hour drive to the Teton National Forest and Yellowstone. The rates were very reasonable. We were very pleased and looking forward to returning in the near future.

Room Tip: The cabins are separate from the lodge rooms. Cabin #1 is closest to the river and farthest from th...
