We visited Brooks Lake Lodge and Spa in January and loved it. From the moment the snow coach left the highway to transport us into the property, to the warm welcome from Teresa and George (GMs). Every staff member greeted us by name, the property was charming and luxuriously rustic. Our cabin was cosy and well appointed, and the scenery was simply breathtaking. The meals are phenomenal, wonderful variety and excellent gourmet dishes for every palette. We loved the activities, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. Cannot imagine how lovely it is in summer. The staff were attentive, the afternoon tea was relaxing and the spa was very well appointed. Even in the freezing cold with snow everywhere, our experience was warm and cosy. No cell phones, no TV, radio or newspapers, but there was highspeed internet in the main lodge. We were a group of 12, and were looked after very well. I plan to take my family back in the summer. A little slice of heaven in the remote Wyoming wilderness.

The amazing scenery, wonderful accomodations, excellent food, and outstanding staff were the high points of this vacation. Whether you're traveling alone or with friends or family, everyone is made to feel part of the Brooks Lake Lodge family. The activities are tailored to each individual, but the high point of each day is watching the wranglers run the horses out to pasture for the night. I can't wait to go back!

My husband & I visited Brooks Lake Lodge in winter a few years ago as part of a snowmobile trip and have been dieing to go back ever since. You can only access this place by snowmobile or dogsled during the snowy months - staff lives on site at that time of year. Our group of 18 had the place to ourselves the one night we were there. It was wonderful, everyone raved about it and we all get a dreamy look in our eyes when we reminisce about it now. The food was absolutely superb, staff was so attentive (of course we were the only guests so..) and very friendly, the building and views: GORGEOUS. It's lots of logs and stone with huge fireplaces and lots of animals mounts on the wall, but very luxurious with leather furniture and persian rugs. Several couples stayed in their own one-room cabins which were very romantic, but at 20 below zero my husband and I opted for a room in the main lodge. Our room was small but so nice it didn't matter, beautifully decorated in mountain style with a bed so comfy (complete with soft sheets and down comforter) you never wanted to get out. I'm sure the atmosphere is a little different in the summer when you can get there by car, but I'd go back in heart beat!
