“Nice Restaurant”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

We passed through Dubois on our drive through Yellowstone and on to Cheyenne. The woman at the gas station recommended the Cowboy Cafe for lunch.

The restaurant is small but very busy. We ate at the tables out on the street and enjoyed the view of the old west storefronts.

The service was fast and the food was good. What's not to like?

“Nowhere near Durant, for all you longmire fans”
Reviewed 31 May 2014

Small little cafe in a small little town. the people were very friendly
Service was good, as was the food. But it was the only pale in town that was open since they seem to close for the winter, or at least prior to Memorial day.

So if you are ever in Dubois, WY, east of Jackson Hole stop on in.

The drive from Jackson to Dubois is beautiful. You will pass a lodge used for snowmobiling that is really nice.

“We love the Cowboy!”
Reviewed 26 March 2014

Since our children were tiny (now in their 20s) the Cowboy has been a favorite of our family.
When given a choice of where to eat, they always choose the Cowboy.

Friendly staff, fun food. When they were little they ordered moose drops, it took a while to come so the waitress said she would have to go out back and squeeze the moose again. Our kids eyes were huge. We laughed until we practically cried.

It seems a bit more pricy in the last few years so we don't go as often.

Get the pie! If they have anything with meringue order it!

“District Visit”
Reviewed 8 March 2014

I have to say this place is pretty amazing. The wait staff are wonderful down home folks. The turn-around time on orders was fast. It is truly a "mom and pop" establishment. The best part is the food. I had dinner and breakfast and both were awesome.
