Booked a room here online never having been to Jackson. The motel is not what I expected at all from the reviews. It is very dated, oddly placed in town, all doors are exterior (photo doesn't show that) and we had a number of issues within minutes of getting our room key. The first thing that we had issues with was our door key opening the room. The door handled spun with the key in both directions and after a few minutes of messing with it we got in the room. The room was dated and very cheap particularly for the $200+ it cost. The final blow came in the form of the broken lock that looked like it had been worked over many times in the past on the rear patio door that opened up to a patio that overlooked an alley. While the room was on the second floor the patio arrangement would require little effort for someone to climb up and come in the unlockable door. When I confronted the woman in the main office she acknowledged that the lock was broken (yet didn't seem to mind renting us the room) and wouldn't refund our money. Avoid Cache Creek Motel, there are much better options in the area.

We stayed here because all the other hotels were much more expensive. It's a very easy walk to downtown, which is good because it can be hard to find parking. They recommended a restaurant called The Bunnery, which is just a few blocks away, and we really liked the food. The room had a small kitchenette and a refrigerator.

Stayed here for 1 night in room 105. Good sized kingsize room, small kitchenette to rear of room which had enough stuff to cook a simple meal. Bathroom was a good size & was v clean. I note some other reviewers have commented on noise from other guests & how dirty rooms were, I can say we had neither of these problems. Bed was clean & comfy, and at no point did we hear any noise from other guests or from the roadway.
There is free wifi too.
This was a pleasant experience for $60 and was not disappointed. This isn't the Hilton, but doesn't pretend to be. If you're looking for reasonably priced rooms that are clean & comfortable the you could do a lot worse than give this place a chance. I'd happily return here.

My family (my husband and I plus our 3 preteens/teen) goes to Jackson every year after Christmas to snowshoe. Our usual hotel was booked. Unfortunately we found Cache Creek; a 3 bed suite with a kitchenette. We thought we had found a hidden gem, we later found it to be a NIGHTMARE. First of all, the office was closed when we got there, our room key was taped to the office door. It seemed the office closed every night at 8 PM. Within 45 min of our first night a snowball was thrown at our patio window, we played it off as random. Throughout our 4 day family vacation we heard random banging, which we thought was odd, but didn't pay much attention to it at first as we weren't there much. On our last night, we had just gotten back from being out all day. Within 2 minutes we heard banging from below and then 4 or 5 snowballs were thrown at our patio window. My husband looked out and there was an older man yelling obscenities and threatening him. Yelling at us to "tame our rugrats" and to come downstairs to settle it. We immediately went to the office. The office guy was surprised with what we were telling him. While we were there he answered the phone and once he got off he realized who it was and explained to us that the guy below our kids' room, was an older guy who lived in the mountains in a tent during the warm months and stayed there when it was too cold to be outside. He said that the guy wasn't all there and that we were ok and to not worry about it, that he would take care of it and let the managers know. It wouldn't happen again. We went back to our room. For about 2 straight HOURS, we heard continual banging and yelling from the guy below. We tried calling the office but they closed at 8PM and there was no alternative number to call. Around 10 PM the manager came up to our room, the guy below us was accusing us of being too loud. She was VERY RUDE and accusatory and not interested in what we had to say. We tried to explain the situation that happen earlier, she said she was never informed of the incident. She told us she could hear us from her room. We again tried to explain that it was not us, it was the guy below us banging on the ceiling. We told her that we tried to call the office. She said the office was closed and that her number was on the office door. We didn't know that, why wasn't it in our room where we needed it and could find it. In the end she told us that the people around here knew that at 10PM it was quiet time and that we basically should not be moving around unless we needed to use the bathroom! I know our kids were not loud, they read or watched TV most of the time we were in the hotel room.

We only stayed one night but it was definitely like a motel 6 experience. The bathroom smelled moldy, and I think it came from the shower curtain. The manager on duty offered to move us, but the room he showed us had the same smelly problem in the bathroom. The room smelled like cigarette smoke because of the outside ashtray down the way from our room. I would not recommend this place.

This was the most disgusting hotel we stayed in on our entire vacation to Yellowstone. The bathroom smelled molded. The hotel ashtray was outside our door and window so our room was constantly filled with cigarette smoke. The carpet was filthy. There were blood stains on the sheets. The sofa looked and smelled like it was purchased from a Goodwill Thrift store. We paid $140.00 a night for a hotel that looked and felt like something you were taken to after you were kidnapped. The place was surrounded by a junkyard/repair shop with loser people hanging around. To top it off a family of three checked in above us and it sounded like a herd of elephants running around all night. Worst hotel experience ever!!!!

We were in Jackson Hole for the Lotoja bike race. Booked this room back in April and got a great rate. Was skeptical what the quality would be, but although an older motel it was well kept and exceeded our expectations. Only warning would be this was a suite with two rooms, and the cooling/heating system was in the front bedroom. With the door between the rooms closed no air got back to the back bedroom. Wasn't a big issue for us, but if it was extremely hot or cold it would be uncomfortable for those in the back bedroom. But for a stay in September it was a perfect situation. If you book early you can get really good rates here! Already thinking about booking now for next year's race.
