“Great stay!”
Reviewed 23 August 2012

All hotels in Jackson Hole area are pricey. We thought this was a fairly reasonable find at just over $200 for 2 queen beds. We were in a quiet back corner of the hotel. It was just a short walk to the downtown. The pool and hot tub are small, but in a building by themselves. It is on the street where lots of people walk by and can look right in. I started feeling like I was in a fishbowl. That was the only complaint though. The room was very comfortable. Beautiful linens. Nice tile in the bath that was even heated. They have fridge and microwave. Nice flat screen. Lots of place to hang up towels, coats, wet bathing suits. They leave a cute stuffed wolf on bed to help you sleep and feel like part of their pack. Cute laundry room in complex. Nice sitting areas outside. The breakfast was very good for a free hotel breakfast. Local handmade granola, oatmeal, fresh fruit, fresh bagels. Many of the other smaller hotel/motels looked very dated. We were impressed with this one!

Room Tip: Ask to be in back of property away from the street.

We stayed at the Lexington at Jackson Hole this week. We were offered a room in the "recently remodeled" wing. I realize that $300 a night isn't that extravagant for Jackson, but it was overpriced for what we got.

The room was nice, but not great. The bed was the worst bed my wife or I have slept on in a hotel in years. It was so soft and saggy that both our backs hurt the next morning. The bath room was nice, including a heated floor, but the new tile had cracked mortar already.

The room was on the second floor, and there was no elevator, and Lexington had their truck parked in the parking slot closest to the stairs.

The breakfast buffet was very nice, maybe the best "free" buffet I've seen. It didn't have anything extraordinary, but what was there was prepared well, and in small batches and trays were replaced before they were completely empty.

Next trip to Jackson we will look for somewhere else.

Pricey area, very pricey hotel. Front desk staff were great - very helpful and friendly. Room was We stayed here because we had friends who were staying here. It was OK, but nothing special. Our room was on the small side and faced the street and was a bit noisy. We had an airbed for one person (they use them in place of a rollaway). It went flat the first night - they replaced it the second night and took the additional $15 a day charge off our bill. We noted the flat bed on a comment card and they did followup with a phone call when we got home. However when we made the reservation, we were given the impression the additional bed would be in a separate living/kitchenette room. They had placed it in the bedroom with the other two beds. Moving it to the other room, the air bed barely fit between the sofa and the kitchen wall. There was no window in that room and no air conditioning. It is a great location if you want to be right downtown near the square.

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the street.

We stayed at the Lexington for one night before a hiking vacation.

The location could not be any closer to town, the room was very good and the service at the front desk was very helpful.

When we arrived at the Jackson Hole Airport we called for a pickup. We were told that because of an accident on the way into town, it might take a while. Fifteen minutes the hotel called back to say it would take longer because of the backup. That is good service that you don’t get at every hotel.

This is a short walk away from the square. Clean room. Decent Internet speed. Breakfast that had good granola and fruit as an option rather than just muffins.

The buildings are set up motel style with doors that open onto the parking lot, but we did not hear much noise from the lot. If your priority is being near the square this is a good clean option. Not really a hotel, but staff was nice and it served the purpose. There is a local nature photographer who hangs out at breakfast most days to discuss and showcase his work. Made the meal more interesting.

Room Tip: Back buildings probably a little more quiet as they are away from street.

We stayed a couple of days as we roamed down from Yellowstone to the Grand Tetons area. The Lexington was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

It was a very nice walking distance from the town square.

The Lexington was a step up from a couple of other hotels we had stayed at our travels. Not that the other hotels were bad just that Lexington had some nice design elements and was sharply appointed.

We had a great honeymoon stay at the Lexington in Jackson Hole. One of the few hotels that actually noticed that it was our honeymoon, even though we mentioned it with every reservation. The service was great and we loved the free "rental" bikes.

Beautiful environment and a great starting point for exploring the Tetons.
