We chose the Virginian Lodge because we were two couples traveling together and wanted a two bedroom suite. It met that basic requirement, but that's about it.
The property is old and could definitely benefit from some updating. The walls are very thin and you could easily hear conversations in the other room. But, it was nothing compared to the creaky floor. Any time someone walked around at night (to use the bathroom) the floor creaked very loudly... loud enough to wake you up! It sounded like something was coming out of the closet. At first, we thought it was critters living in the walls, but then realized it was the floor creaking.
Probably would not stay again.More
