We chose this hotel after a long drive from Utah, as it's very close to Yellowstone, our next destination. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The room was huge, clean, well appointed and overlooked the pool. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was close enough to central Jackson, where a wide variety of eateries could be found. There is also a restaurant next door that did great breakfasts.
The only downside was noise. The Lodge is a traditional wooden building, and the noise of doors closing in the adjacent rooms was greater than in a concrete building. Also, the lodge has an adjoining bar, and we could hear the entertainment from our room. That saying, we were dog tired, and fell asleep despite the background noise. This motel is about a 1 hour drive via The Tetons, to Yellowstone, and the scenery is stunning. I would definitely stay here if visiting Yellowstone, or skiing in Jackson Hole.

Room Tip: Request a room as far away from the bar as possible

We stayed their as a getaway from our stress and we loved it. The hotel was roomy and offered decent bathroom and it was close enough to Jackson that we weren't in the traffic. Only ten minutes from grand Teton and very affordable. Pool was great and the staff was very helpful and pleasant. Most certainly will say there again.

Room Tip: Either a two double bed or a three bed and book ahead for best price.

We stayed one night here on our way to Idaho and although the place looks really dated, don't let that put you off. The room was spacious and clean with plenty of towels.

The staff were very friendly at reception as well as the housekeeper who was checking the rooms were cleaned properly and the staff in the liquor store.

There is a liquor store and saloon on site and although we didn't use the saloon because my husband was poorly, there seemed to be a lot of residents wondering up towards it in the evening.

There was an outdoor pool which was lovely for swimming in and a hot tub although I didn't use that. This was set in quite an extensive garden.

The while place just had a really nice, safe, friendly vibe about it and I'd certainly recommend it.

We stayed for one night enroute to The Tetons and truly enjoyed our stay. There is a huge hot tub that we were able to enjoy by ourselves. The rooms are "outdated" but super clean. It was actually fun seeing the old school setting. We got a kick out of it. Our room was in the middle by the pool area and was very quiet. The kids were able to play in the middle grassy area which was convenient. The staff was awesome.

The room was a little dated, but it was clean and it was a fun environment, there was a cat that kept trying to come into our room every time we came back from the day, it was very nice, but what a strange deal!

the office is very cute and lodge feeling. the room was old but clean i didnt like that it smelled like a glade air freshener. and the walls are very thin every one that walks past the room you could hear. but for the price it was fine for the night. close to down town.

Room Tip: if you travel with a baby bring a bed or it will b $7 to use their cribs.

While visiting Jackson for the annual hill climbs we decided to stay at the Virginian Lodge. We had a double queen on the bottom floor in the back building. The room was clean and extremely quiet, which is a bonus once the Saloon had closed. The staff was friendly and very helpful with parking our 30' trailer. The only draw back was the rooms were a little out dated but the cleanliness of them made up for that. The liquor store clerk was very cheerful and funny even late at night when we ran in for a midnight snack. Will stay again!!
