I would give this motel three stars but given prices in Jackson in the summer, I added a fourth star. We had comfortable queen size beds in our room. It was fairly quiet and we slept well. We just needed a place to stay after arriving late before we headed to Yellowstone the next day. It serves that purpose very well. This is not a place I would want to stay more than a day or two.

The room is large enough to not feel crowded. The room had a small, old-style tube TV. I guess they have to cut costs somehow. The bathroom was fine with a good tub/shower.

It is about a mile southwest of downtown, so it is outside the congested area but very accessible to downtown. All in all, a satisfactory motel given our needs.

Country style. Checkin went quickly. Maybe a little older, but rooms are big and clean. Wifi was not so good. Great pool. Unfortunately no breakfast. The outside looked great too with al the flowers by every door.

Normally we stay in State and National Campgrounds in a small motorhome with our Kids 6 and 8. We stayed at the Virginian RV park because of its location to town which turned out to be a great decision. Its about a 6-8 block walk to town. The RV park is very clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. The pool is clean and the kids loved it. All of the occupants were transient RVers so there were not any run trailers etc. For the location, pool and clean facilities its worth the premium prices to stay here.

Extremely well-tended park. Multiple on-site 'camp hosts' were very visible and very busy, watering, mowing and stopping to say hello. In our short career of travelling this way, it's by far the best we've seen anywhere. Too bad, then, that the bathrooms are so cramped and out of date--broken locks on the doors and all and obviously not just recently broken--definitely not on par with the rest of 'accomodations' or quite up to the well above average price charged.

Still, the better option in town and we'd stay again.

We stayed three nights at the RV Park this past July and once before, same time, several years ago. It's expensive to be sure... But compare to other choices n other locations... Seems a win there. The pool/hot tub/sauna is well kept. Attached to a large motel/lodge that seemed to do brisk business.

The RV site was approaching average at best. Leaking water faucet, missing sewer cap, all dead grass and significant tilt. Showers were solidly average and clean enough. Staff stayed busy, no doubt counting their daily cash haul, but they weren't the super friendly type-- then again that's not always best either. The place was fine and I guess comes recommended all things considered if you're going to RV in the town of Jackson.

We had a great stay at the Virginian Lodge. Our room was extremely spacious (with a couch, table, separate bathroom space and king bed) and was very clean and comfortable as well. We were particularly impressed as we booked our room at the last minute and paid a very reasonable price. As others have mentioned, the rooms are a bit dated but we felt that the wood panelling just added to its charm. The lodge is in a convenient location to downtown Jackson and also hosts a saloon and restaurant on site (we ate breakfast there and it was really good!). My fiancé enjoyed playing pool at the saloon and had fun meeting some local patrons. The only downside was that there wasn't a microwave or fridge/freezer in our room, but as there is an ice machine and a restaurant on site this wasn't a problem. Overall, it is very good value for money and we would highly recommend staying here if you're passing through Jackson.

My parents stayed in the lodge. They said they didnt care it wasn't updated. The main thing is it must be clean. It was very clean. My family stayed in the rv park. They were very nice. The public bathrooms were clean. I liked that it was very close to town. The kids enjoyed the pool. I wish there was public bathrooms by the pool.
