“Don't Try this Yourself”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

If you think you can drive around on your own and view the same wildlife you'll see on an expedition, you are sadly mistaken. Our sojourn with biologist Jessie Stirling was worth every penny. We spotted 2 bears, moose, elk, an osprey, a great Grey Owl, a herd of buffalo and a pronghorn/antelope. Jessie set up scopes so we were able to get great views of the animals off in the distance as well as close-up photos. You may see some of these on your travels out and about but the likelihood of being able to drive and spot bears or birds off in the distance is negligible. This trip is worth every cent.

“Exciting Way to See the Tetons!”
Reviewed 11 May 2014

We had a very exciting half-day tour full of wildlife sightings: grizzly bears, moose, buffalo, elk, and more elk. Our tour guide, Sean, was very knowledgeable of the wildlife and arrived at our hotel bearing hot drinks and snacks. We learned a lot about the wildlife, their habits, what they eat, and where they can be found.

Thank you for reviewing your expedition with Sean Beckett. We appreciate the kind praise about your experience. Based upon your review and Sean's statements it sounds as if you were able to witness the splendors of springtime in the northern Rocky Mountains. Birds and mammals galore! Thank you and we hope to see you again in this beautiful part of the world. Jared Baecker

“Wildlife Expedition in Grand Teton National Park”
Reviewed 29 April 2014

This wildlife expedition through Teton Science Schools (TSS) Wildlife Expeditions was incredible. We enjoyed the experience of a lifetime. Our guide, Dawson Smith, was knowledgeable and adept at pointing out the sites and wildlife. It was a full day trip and not a moment of it was boring. We look forward to doing a multiple-day expedition in the future!

Thank you for reviewing your expedition with Dawson. Your expedition was a great kick-off to the summer season! Thanks for posting your photos on TripAdvisor and our Facebook page. We love the images of the grizzly bears in the snow. I am glad that you were to enjoy the beginning of the spring and summer weather while you were visiting Jackson. We would be honored to share a multiday expedition with you in the future. As you now know spring is an amazing time of year. I would suggest a Spring Wolf & Bear Expedition, this expedition combines the geologic highlights of the parks and amazing wildlife watching. Thank You and we look forward to seeing you soon. - Jared Baecker

“Excellent site seeing for adults and kids alike!”
Reviewed 2 April 2014

My family took our children ranging in ages from 3 to 10 on the Elk Refuge tour and all were thoroughly engaged and enlightened by Sara E., a true nature enthusiast and self-professed "nature geek." We saw so much wildlife during our half day excursion: moose, coyotes, eagles, and big horned sheep to name a few of the many species. There was never a dull moment! Sara's knowledge on the animals and landscape was so impressive, and she even brought along hot chocolate and snacks for the trip, much to everyone's delight. Dawson guided the adult group in our second van (both vans had multiple sun roofs) and received rave reviews as well. I give this business the highest ratings across the board and would definitely use this company again!

“Great day in the Tetons”
Reviewed 28 March 2014

My husband and I went to Jackson Hole for the skiing. We needed a break one day, and were told that the wildlife tour was worthwhile. We booked a day tour and were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by Sarah in the morning. She arrived with hot chocolate and snacks and a wonderful van to take us out. Sarah was extremely knowledgable (and a good driver). We spotted a moose quickly and soon a bald eagle. Sarah took out the spotting scope and showed us how to take a close up picture through it. We drove into the Teton National Forrest and continued to spot some great wildlife. We had an added bonus, we got to go snowshoeing. While we were out, Sarah pointed out lots of interested facts about bears, birds, an other various animals. When we got back, we drove to a local restaurant for a wonderful lunch. After that, we went to the elk reserve, and finally out to see some trumpeter swans. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the animals, and getting a more detailed look at the area. We spent the entire day out, but it zoomed by because it was so interesting. Thank you Sarah, for a wonderful experience! One of the great perks, is that the fee you pay goes to the Science School. I highly recommend this tour if you have an extra day in Jackson.

Thank you for taking a day off from skiing. Your praise is kind and much appreciated. Sarah is an outstanding naturalist. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your time away from the vehicle, out in the wonders of Jackson Hole on snowshoes. It is important take a moment, slow down and enjoy the simple beauty of nature. On behalf of Sarah and all of us at Wildlife Expeditions thank you for allowing us to be part of your vacation. - Jared Baecker
