We scheduled the Wildlife Expedition in Grand Teton this past week. Our guide was Jessie Stirling and she was amazing. We were quite pleased to discover that we were the only participants on our all day tour. What a treat.. Jessie took us all over the area and we saw wildlife or beautiful nature scenes at every stop. We finally saw a moose (actually three!) after almost a week in the area.. We saw elk, mule deer, a black bear, bison, pronghorn, bald eagles, a red tailed hawk, and the most amusing of the animals ween - a yellow bellied marmot who played peekaboo with us for a few minutes. Along the way Jessie made sure we had everything we needed in terms of comfort. The picnic lunch was delightful as were the water bottles that we got to take home. Jessie explained a lot about the area and the habits of the wildlife. She even gave us a tip for where to find a stuffed toy pronghorn for my daughter's collection! (we did find it and daughter was quite happy).. Jessie demonstrated a real love for the area and for the wildlife there. We are self professed animal 'geeks' thus shared her enthusiasm for the animals. All of us got extremely excited about each sighting.. We can't wait to come back to the area and will definitely schedule another tour with this wonderful organization.. and hopefully we will have Jessie as our guide again!!

We are so proud of this review of your experience with Jessie. Jessie is absolute pleasure to have as a member of our team. It is wonderful to hear that our feelings are also shared by our guests. There are so many amazing species found in Grand Teton National Park. As biologists we love that you were also amused by the yellow bellied marmot. Thank you for you sharing your opinion of your expedition with Jessie. - Jared Baecker

My husband wanted to fish on the first day of our trip and I did not, so I call Wildlife Expeditions to book an all day trip in Grand Teton. They kindly arranged for me to join two other ladies on a Wilderness Discovery Expedition with Dawson as our guide. Dawson picked us up promptly at 6:00 am with coffee and muffins in hand. After giving us an intro to our day, we set off to see what we could see ...and we saw a lot. We spotted a very large bull moose, bison, pronghorns, mule deer and white tail deer. We also saw an eagle, various hawks and a very rare peregrine falcon. My particular favorite was the cinnamon black bear with her two cubs. Dawson's enthusiasm was contagious and the day flew by.This is a trip I would recommend to anyone, young or old. It was not only very educational but it was fun. The perfect activity for a lone woman who's husband wants to fish!

Thank you for your review and your return business. Thank you for requesting Dawson as your biologist. It's too bad that you missed out on fishing but it sure was wonderful to share the day watching and learning about the wildlife of Jackson Hole. As a return participant it pleases us to know that you were able to continue your learning opportunities with Dawson. It will be our privilege to share this valley with you for a third time. May we suggest a 3 day Wolf and Bear Expedition. Thank You - Jared B.

My family heard about this tour from a friend and it was a great recommendation. Our group of 9 did the 4-hour, evening, site seeing tour. The trip started out rainy but it proved great for spotting animals. The van had roof hatches for us to peek out of, binoculars for everyone, and scopes for a more detailed look. We were also offered drinks and protein bars, along with a reusable water bottle to take with us. And to top it all off, we had the most amazing guide. Sarah C. was extremely knowledgable and passionate about the wildlife and the area. She was also very capable during our adventure in the mud. There was never a dull moment! We are so happy to have chosen this tour and support their non-profit company.

We went on a one day wildlife expedition with Dawson as our guide. It was fantastic! We are a family of 5 and each one of us voted it the highlight of our holiday.
Dawson was great - enthusiastic, interesting and very knowledgeable, as well as being patient with our many questions. We saw everything we could have wanted and more and the hours flew by.
The equipment (binoculars and spotting scopes) was excellent and the kids especially enjoyed using the foof hatches to get a better view of the wildlife. We were offered plently of drinks and snacks and the picnic style lunch provided was also delicious.
I cannot recommend this highly enough. It was an unforgettable experience. One of my sons now wants to be wildlife guide!

We had an amazing 3 days of camping and exploring! Kevin Taylor, Greg Ley and Dr. Doug Wachob were all fantastic, filled with passion for wildlife, geology, and nature, and wonderful at sharing their knowledge in a fun and exciting way for both children and adults. The visit to our campsite by 1820 mountain man/beaver trapper Jimmy Saskatoon will NEVER be forgotten. The boys cannot stop talking about learning to build fire using flint and steel and bow drill methods!!

Thank you for allowing Teton Science Schools to create a one of a kind experience for your family. Kevin, Greg and Doug are pillars of excellence for Teton Science Schools. We knew that your boys would be awed by Jimmy Saskatoon and fire making. What a true Old West experience. We look forward to sharing this amazing ecosystem with you again in the future. Maybe next time it can be mastering primitive winter survival skills. Thank You - Jared B.
