The cabin was small but adequate for what we were looking for. I would recommend the larger cabins. The staff was very helpful and the cabins were very clean and the bed was exceptional for comfort. We will be back.

The room was very small. We had a "kitchen" but it was not very functional. The fridge freezed our food, the only knife had a blade so dull I simply could not peel potato skin. There was no wine bottle opener or wine glass. WI FI Internet was very slow. The included breakfest was very minimalistic and it was hard to find a seat. TV was not in HD.

On the bright side, the room was incredibly cheap compared to other places arround. Bed and pillows were decent. It is at a walking distance from Jackson's center. The staff were very friendly.

Thank you for staying with us at the Cowboy Village Resort in downtown Jackson. We are glad you took the opportunity to use our kitchenette in our cabins. In providing a kitchenette at the property it gives the guest the opportunity to cook and relax at your own cabin as well as saving money on going out to eat. I wish we would have known that you needed a wine opener and wine glasses, we have them at our front desk upon request. Thank you for bringing the other comments to our attention we will be working on them to better the guest experience. Our staff wants to thank you for your compliments and we hope to see you again on the next visit. Take care!

We had a decent one night stay, using it as a base to explore the town (walking distance) before heading to the parks. Somehow when choosing something rustic sounding, I expected more space in the cabin and between cabins -- this was a really a cottage style motel on a large scale. It was nice to have a refrigerator but didn't lend itself to doing much in the cabin. I did not investigate pricing on more conventional nearby hotels, so perhaps this was a better deal than it seemed at the time.

My wife found Cowboy Village as we needed a base camp while exploring the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. This place worked very well for us. We had our own little cabin and it was small but relatively comfortable. It worked great for us as we had a refrigerator to store our food for our daily travels and we could pull up close to the cabin with our vehicle and unload. I would stay here again. Only downside was that the staff at the main lodge seemed uptight and/or distracted.

Stayed a week at Cowboy Village late February. Given the room rate, I wasn't expecting too much, but the cabin we had appeared to be recently redone, granite top in the bathroom. Clean and plenty warm. Not super spacious, but there was good storage for all our stuff. Kitchenette worked out well. We didn't use one but charcoal grills were provided for other guests. Breakfast room was basic, but if you want a full breakfast Bubba's is great and just down the street. Easy walk to anything in town, many shops, eating and drinking establishments. Bus is right there if you need it. Took the Start bus to JH Ski Resort, but there is a free one for hotel guests as well.

Cowboy Village was the perfect location for our family visit. Not glitzy but very comfortable.

We go to Jackson every year and stay at Cowboy Village. We usually get the queen or king cabin but have had the 2 room cabin before. There is a very small refrigerator and stove. The employees are always friendly. The laundry room only has 2 washers and 2 driers so sometimes you have to wait. The grounds are kept up. Each cabin had a space to park in front of it but this last year they changed it to a free for all. So if you are at the park all day and come back you may have to hunt for a place to park because the spot in front of your cabin may be taken. We saw some of the guests get in to it about the parking. That is the only draw back. You are in walking distance of downtown. It looks farther from downtown but really if you don't mind walking, it is worth it then trying to drive and find a place to park.

Just flew back from a week's stay during which we skied, spent time in town and did the sleigh ride into the elk reserve. Our cabin at Cowboy Village was a perfect base for us. We had a queen bunk cabin for just the two of us, which was fine. Very clean, the kitchenette was well stocked, the bathroom was not big, but had plenty of hot water, good quality towels and plenty of soaps, shampoos, etc. We both found the bed comfortable. Good location for going into town and last on/first off the ski shuttle. Breakfast is simple, but they were very conscientiousness about always having fresh fruit, which we appreciated. When the shuttle to the airport would not pick up anywhere near our cabin, the very nice man from Cowboy Village picked up our stuff at the cabin at the really unpleasant hour of 4:45am and took us to the office area to meet the shuttle. Really, really nice customer service. We used and enjoyed the hot tub and pool, too. The changing area also included shampoo and soap so that you could shower after visiting the hot tub and pool.

Room Tip: Ask to be near office if you are going to be using the shuttles. That is their only pick up and dro...
