Cowboy Village was everything we hoped for. Location couldn’t be better: a nice walk to downtown or Snow King, and just a few blocks to good and reasonable fare at Bubba’s or the Snake River Brewery. The cabin was well appointed, with a full cooking and dish set for use in the compact stove/microwave/refrigerator/sink unit. The double bed was comfortable enough that we were not tempted to open the sleeper couch, which certainly would have eaten up most of the vacant floor space. Thought the rodeo loudspeaker might be a problem, but white noise from the fan extinguished it, and the show didn't run late anyway.

Clean, cozy cabin that suited a family of four just fine. Loved the small porch that had a table, grill and extra chairs. We stayed here only two nights before entering Yellowstone. Had we had more time, my husband was looking forward to slapping some wings on the grill. The hub of Jackson Hole is a short walk from the cabins, but you'd never know it. The cabins are shaded by Aspens and other lovely trees and we truly felt like we were already in the woods. We only used the mini fridge so we did not take stock of the cooking supplies. Our only complaint which could easily be avoided, is that they came to clean our room at 4:00 p.m. That's too late in my opinion. If we ever visit again, we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed four nights the third week in August. and Cowboy Village suited our purpose and price range. It was clean, the staff was very friendly and there nice open areas with picnic tables, a small gym, and complimentary coffee and hot chocolate. Although the indoor pool was small, the kids, 7, 10 and 12 enjoyed it.

The rooms were somewhat cramped for the 5 of us (we stayed in a unit with 2 queens and a sleeper sofa), but adequate. We were able to make breakfast, but it would be hard to cook a full meal there. But it was an easy walk into town where there are many wonderful restaraunts.

As long as you know what to expect, you will be fine.

We stayed at this "resort" the last night of our 2 week vacation. This was the least favorite of all the hotels we stayed at including the national park cabins and hotels. We did not know this hotel was pet friendly as none of the reivew on trip advisor mentioned this in their glowing reviews. Compared to other pet friendly hotels this might be 5 stars but since I've never been to one I have nothing to compare it to. As soon as we walked in we could smell the air freshener they must use to try and mask the pet smell. My husband and daughter spent the entire stay sneezing. The sofa seemed like it might need a good cleaning as did the carpet and the bathroom floor was disgusting. The pillows must be as old as the owners because they were extremely lumpy, it was so gross I had to put a towel over mine just to be able to lay on it. I really thought about staying the night in the car or checking into the Best Western for the night. I'm not sure what most of the people think close walking distance is but to me this was not that close to the town area stores. We had to walk through some "iffy" areas to get to the shops and when we were walking back in the dark at night it was a bit nerve racking as there are no street lights. We were able to park by our cabin but wedidn't move the car once it was parked at 4pm. Space was a bit tight inside if you have to do any repacking of your bags. There are no suitcase holders and we had bunk beds so you couldn't lay the suitcase on the bed either. Speaking of the bunk beds. My daughter thought it was great but I worried all night about ther falling off since there was no footboard at the end of the top bunk and the small side rail that there is was wobbly. Sleeping next to a wall that is covered in dust didn't help either. Luckily we didn't have to use the "kitchen" because if you go thinking you'll be able to cook meals here, you might have a hard time. The cabins are close but that did not bother us much. Everyone seemed fairly quiet during out stay and we had no problem with noise. If you have pets and enjoy taking them with you , this might be the place for you. If not I would stay in one of the other great looking hotels closer in.

This hotel was wonderful for me! The room was just the right size with everything I needed then some. The hotel is fairly up to date and clean. The front desk was very friendly. Parking even though it was full was easy. It's really the little things that make this hotel a joy to stay at.
The location is great. It took me a little more than 10 minutes to walk downtown, and is walking distance to where they have the rodeo in
town.
The only complaint I would have is that the cabins are somewhat close but that is easily forgiven in my book.

My husband I stayed at Cowboy Village while visiting the Grand Tetons. The cabins are close together but you still have your own grill and table on your porch. It was nice and quiet and within walking distance to everything you can do in Jackson, WY. They have a pool and hot tub and a game room. The kitchenette was a bit difficult to use. There isn't a lot of room to maneuver around so unless you are planning just a heat and eat dinner I would suggest to do that or to grill outside.

Most of the cabins are 3 to 5 feet apart. Even though they can technically accomodate up to 6 people in a Queen Deluxe room, any more than 2 to 3 people would be crowded. There are only two kitchen chairs and a very small table in the 'kitchen'. The kitchenette was not very well stocked, missing spatulas, mixing bowls, wire whip. Cooking utensils in poor condition. No dishwasher, only very small sink to do dishes in and one dish towel. They left us with only 2 cups and one shampoo container for a 6 person cabin. This is a VERY family friendly resort. Expect the pool/hot tub to be crowded to capacity with screaming, running and jumping children. Also expect them all around the property. No place to go to get some peace and quiet. Left a lot to be desired as far as comfort. No coffee table in front of the couch, no extra pillows or blankets for pullout couch. No closets and only two hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. Also very short on parking spaces. The spaces are not assigned so don't plan to park near your cabin.
