“Comfortable stay in Jackson”
Reviewed 10 July 2013 via mobile

We have stayed at this hotel several times during our annual visit to Jackson hole. It is under new management and this year, the rooms have been updated to include a refrigerator and microwave and LCD TV. I DO MISS THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES that used to greet us in the evenings.....the new owners must think that taking cookies away didn't matter, but it was a small homey touch that was appreciated. Other than that, we enjoy staying there and have a particular area in the hotel we like to stay, that is very quiet.

We stayed her for one night after 6 nights at a comfortable, yet rustic, dude ranch. A welcome oasis with cool air conditioning, a TV and wifi, especially for my kids who went without those things for 7 days while at the ranch! ; ) The hotel was spotless, and the rooms were comfortable. Nice beds and soft sheets. All fully renovated, upscale and like new. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We were only here one night, but would have loved to stay more. Good location, close to the town square(but not walking distance). We will stay here again when in Jackson.

The Wyoming Inn is a truly beautiful hotel. Our room, a third floor king with fireplace, was gorgeous -- not to mention the incredible bathroom which had double sinks, beautiful marble counter tops and shower tile (I think I'm using the word "beautiful" too much!). It is obvious much thought and care went into the renovation of the "old?" Wyoming Inn.

We really liked the location of the hotel as well. You're close enough into town (about 1.5 miles) and yet far enough "out" to not be in the middle of mobs of people in town. We had been given two recommendations for dinner by friends (The Gun Barrel Steakhouse and Ignight). The Gun Barrel is within walking distance (about .5 mile); Ignight is across the street from the hotel. I will write reviews for both in the next day or so.

Back to the Wyoming Inn. The hotel is extremely comfortable and the staff, for the most part, were very congenial and helpful.

The reasons for dinging a 1/2 Star: A hotel this nice should have a liquor license and a full restaurant. The huge shower, while pretty, could use a small seat; and, as stated in another review, the shower water pressure was less than desirable. Lastly, more than one desk clerk should be at the front desk during prime check-in hours (we arrived just shy of 4 pm). There were 3 parties in line (we were third) and only one desk clerk. The first couple was checked in within a couple of minutes; the second, their reservation could not be found, so we waited while one of them ran out to their car to find their confirmation. Eventually, another staff member came out to help and checked us in.

We would, however, highly recommend the hotel and would stay here again.

We first stayed here in 2007 and were so impressed then we decided to stay again on our second visit. WOW it was even better. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. The only negative comment was that the desk clerk who checked us in had to told we were there by the other clerk who was dealing with another customer. He then gave us some attention. He asked if we'd stayed with them before. I said yes in 2007 but he seemed to only hear the "yes" as he failed to tell us of the changes. We overheard the other clerk explaining to a returning couple about the change that had been made. He was by far the better employee.
The room certainly had the WOW factor; everything screamed quality. The bathroom had a beautiful shower with a glass door and the complimentary toiletries were extra luxuries. The beds were so comfortable and the sheets so fresh and crisp. The coffee machine was a real bonus and the instructions so easy to follow.
We enjoyed the breakfast menu and the atmosphere of the dining area is certainly enhanced with the beautiful wildlife photos that are played on the television - SO much better than having the TV on.
If we ever come back to Jackson I shall certainly stay here again and will recommend it to all my friends.

Thank you for your continued visits to our property! We certainly enjoy you as our guests!

We are very pleased you enjoyed our rennovations and amenities. Our rooms including our elegant linens and toiletires are amazing and a delight for guests. The Kuring Coffee Brewing system is wonderful in each of our Inn rooms, and so very convenient.

I am especially pleased that you experienced our Breakfast Restaurant and enjoyed it the meal and atmosphere. Our collection of Tom Mangelsen wildlife art is stunning and certainly appreciated by everyone.

We look forward to welcoming you back to beautiful Jackson Hole, and thank you for recommending us to your friends.

My father booked two rooms at this hotel the week of July 4. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were modern and clean, and the gym was very nice. The bathrooms had two sinks, one outside and one inside, which provided plenty of counter space for all my cosmetic items. Another plus was that each room had a fridge, which allowed for the storage of snacks and drinks from the local organic grocery store around the corner. I also found the beds and pillows to be extremely comfortable, which was nice after coming from Yellowstone Park where the accommodations weren't as comfortable. The hotel also has a high quality GE washer and dryer on the second floor for guests to use for free. Detergent and dryer sheets are also provided by the hotel. I found this to be a nice surprise after showing up with a bag of quarters and two loads of laundry. There was a wait for the laundry at times, but it was only a minor inconvenience. The only negative thing I can think of is that the water pressure in the shower wasn't very good, so it took a few minutes longer to wash my hair. The hotel is also a short drive to downtown, so if you want to walk everywhere, this may not be your best choice.

We are so very pleased you experienced and appreciated the amenities of our rooms and the Inn. With our renovation we looked through the eyes of our guests and anticipated their needs with our elegant choices.

Truly merits all of the praise. One of the best hotels I've been in for many moons. A little far from central Jackson, but the service and decor more than compensate for the short drive. Good dinner recommendation (Blue Lion).

We had a fantastic stay at the Wyoming Inn and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Jackson Hole. The bed was so comfortable. I slept great the first night, and I never sleep well in hotels. The bathroom was beautiful with a very large glass shower. No nasty curtains! The staff was friendly and helpful. They even had a complimentary laundry that I took advantage of. You won't be disappointed.
