Owner description: Grizzly Country Wildlife Adventures offers world class guided tours through Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park. Spend the day exploring Grand Teton National Park under the spectacular Teton Range looming overhead at 13,770 feet. Hear stories of fur trappers and mountain men that came into the valley to make a living and decided to lay down there hats in Jackson Hole and make a life in this sometimes harsh but beautiful climate. Make sure to keep a keen eye, there is nothing like being the first to spot one of the animals that reside in the Greater Yellowstone Eco System. Catching a black bear high up in a berry bush or spotting a Pronghorn, aka North Americas fastest land mammal, sprint through a meadow before your friends will definitely earn you some bragging rights on your trip! We will provide binoculars and your guide will set up a spotting scope so that you can see every little detail of these animals from a grizzly bear’s claws that can reach up to 4 inches long to the super soft velvet that cover the antlers of a moose’s paddles in the summer time. Or head up north into Yellowstone National Park and take in some 10,000 thermal features. You will see geysers that erupt 100 feet over your head and bacteria mats that are so colorful they rival fine art. Don’t worry about missing out on the animals listed above, they also call Yellowstone home and love to make an appearance on our tours. If you are lucky you could witness a bison taking a dust bath to keep away the bugs or watch a grizzly protect a fresh kill in the Hayden Valley. Americas first National Park covers an impressive 2,221,766 acres, so we want to make sure that you are well fed and comfortable throughout the 10-12 hour tour. Before you leave Jackson we will fuel up at a local coffee shop or market and just when the first tummy grumbles your guide will make a beautiful gourmet picnic lunch in one of the many pretty spots up in the park. We searched far and wide for a super comfortable ride to take our VIPS on tour and we landed in Ohio, home to the Explorer Van. Each of our Vans have leather captains chairs and raised roofs leaving you feeling like a million bucks at the end of a full day of touring. Yellowstone is like no place on earth making it a must see on your trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

We had the most spectacular tour with Jeff through Yellowstone. We were out there when there was a fire in park yet, Jeff managed to get us into the park and see more than all of the sites. His knowledge of the history of the area was most impressive. Almost like a driving Google master!

Jeff allowed plenty of time for stopping and picture taking. Amazingly he seemed very at home using all variations of cameras as he took group and couples shots for us.

When I go back out to Jackson Hole I will certainly sign up with Jeff and Grizzly Country for a hiking tour of Grand Teton.

We did a yellowstone tour last Wednesday with Chris Walker and it was fantastic. He was informative, answered our many questions and showed us lots of great wildlife. He was as excited as we were when an animal was spotted. Never felt rushed. Great lunch. Everything was perfect

This was my family's first time visiting the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Park. Lincoln, our guide was so friendly, knowledgeable, and we were even from the same area back home! We saw deer, elk, antelope, eagles, coyotes, osprey, tons of bison, and even a black bear! It was a ten hour day but it really flew by. There were tons of laughs in the car which helped pass the time. We stopped at Old Faithful, waterfalls, and hot springs. If you want to see everything in a short amount of time and learn a ton, I would highly recommend this company. It was awesome to say the least. We definitely made many memories.

This was our first trip to Jackson Hole and the state of Wyoming. We were celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary. Rachael the concierge at the Terra Hotel recommended Grizzly Country Wildlife Adventure, LLC. She could not have given us better advice. Kris Walker took us on two tours: the first was a full day tour of Yellowstone National Park and the second was a sunset tour of the Grand Teton National Park. We saw every animal (Deer, Elk, Prong Horn, Moose, Bears, Hawks, Bald Eagles, Otters, Beavers, Buffalo and many more) a visitor would hope to see thanks to Kris’s sharp eyes. The conversion van used for the full day trip was very comfortable and clean as was the 4 wheel drive SUV used for the sunset trip. They provided binoculars and a long range scope to zoom in on the wildlife that was perched on rock spires or roaming a valley. Other times the buffalo were walking right around the truck so close you could hear them moving through the grass and even breathing. They thought of everything from stopping for coffee and pastry in the morning to a wonderful picnic lunch. Snacks were also provided in the form of locally made meal bars and water (provided in souvenir bottles).

Kris explained in detail about the wildlife, geography, geological and histories of the parks. He has a library of field guides and history books in his head. Each trip was pleasant, light hearted and well planned out. Kris was very friendly and genuine throughout our time together. He gave us options several times throughout the trip. Everything about this experience was 5 star and exceeded our expectations. Well done and Thank you…Mark and Shari.
