“A Grand Sight”
Reviewed 2 September 2013

Paul took us to the top of Teton Pass a few minutes before sunrise and what a view looking east. The sun was breaking over the mountains on the east side of the valley while Jackson was still in the dark with its city lights glowing. We then went to the north of Jackson and saw a big bull moose in heavy bush. No pictures but what a sight nevertheless. Next stop was the Snake River Overlook where some good shots were taken of the Snake and the Grand. We went to Jackson Lake for a few shots and came back through Teton National Park stopping for some more great shots along the way. Paul's intimate knowledge and understanding of the area plus his photographic expertise makes this a must for anyone wanting to see the real beauty of the area.

It was my pleasure sharing the morning and the valley of Jackson Hole including Grand Teton National Park with the two of you. Each of my tours are tailored to what my guests are looking to see and do. On this morning we stopped at all the classic and iconic scenic locations and made a stop to visit one of the big bulls I have had the pleasure of photographing over the years. I look forward to your next visit. --Paul

“If in Grand Teton, do this.”
Reviewed 1 September 2013

If you are looking for a great way to experience Grand Teton National Park and want to see and photograph some wildlife and/or landscapes, then book a tour with Paul.

Paul's friendly service and his expertise on where to find wildlife, what the best places for great scenic shots are and his connections with other locals make for an almost perfect tour.

No matter where we were, when we were done taking pictures, be it of three bull-moose, be it of a moose and its calf or of a nice mountain view, other tour companies just showed up. Well, if the show is over, it's over. Paul knows where and when to go and his comfortable van brings you everywhere.

“A great tour”
Reviewed 31 August 2013

My family and I took Paul's sunrise Grand Teton safari. Paul picked us up promptly at 6am and even provided coffee and muffins. Shortly thereafter we were already seeing wildlife, first up a moose. Paul is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. Paul is an professional photographer and had good tips to share with me. I got some close-up photos using his 500 mm lens. He tailors the tour to the client's interests. I highly recommend Paul Martin's photo safaris.

Hi Barb, thanks for sharing your trip! It was my honor and pleasure to have you and your family as my guests on one of my most popular tours, the Teton Sunrise Safari Tour. If the muffins that greet my guests on all my morning Safari Tours could be rated they would surely take the gold. While not all my guests are photo enthusiasts those that are can take advantage of long lenses and cameras I have available your use at no extra charge allowing guests to take home some great memories that will last a lifetime. I hope you visit again very soon. --Paul

“Amazing”
Reviewed 21 August 2013

My father and I joined Paul for a sunrise Teton safari. We originally intended to concentrate on landscape photography, but due to some clouds and smoke from a fire in Idaho we switched to animals. Paul did not disappoint. He was extremely knowledgeable about photography, the area, the wildlife, you name it. We saw herds of elk, bison, some pronghorn, and best of all, a black bear. Paul knew where to find the animals and was patient enough to wait so we could get that perfect shot. He even provided us with some yummy bakery muffins. I cannot say a single bad thing about our experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Don't choose one of those cookie-cutter tours filled with other annoying tourists. Get a private tour from Paul, you won't regret it!

Its so wonderful that you took the time to share your experience with others and I know it really helps when folks are looking for a tour to explore Grand Teton National Park. As all my tours are private and I do only one tour each day with six or less guests all my tours are very tailored to what my guests hope to see and do. My guests don’t wonder who their guide might be as I promise I will be your guide giving my guests almost 40 years experience of knowledge of Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole. I hope you will join me as my guest in the very near future. --Paul
