We stayed two nights at the Ranch Inn and could not have been more pleased. Our room was HUGE. It had a king bed, a couch, an overstuffed chair with ottoman. Had a huge bathroom, and also had an extra lavatory and counter in the room. There was a musty smell when we first walked in, but we had Frabreeze and sprayed that and never noticed it again. The location is perfect...we moved the car one time! The breakfast room was small, but we arrived early so it wasn't a problem for us. We were gone for 12 night, and this was one of our favorite places. Now, were we lucky? I'm not sure. We stayed in the tower, room 354, I think it was. When I was checking out I told the girls at the front desk how pleased we were and she said, "Oh, yes, that's a nice room". So maybe they're not all that nice, but that one surely was. We really wanted to stay another night, but had other places we wanted to go and just couldn't. We hope to go back next December and will definitely stay at the Ranch Inn.

Room Tip: Room 354 was great!

Arrived in Jackson after a very long journey from UK, found motel ok and check in was fine.

Room a disappointment, very basic but ok, but had a really odd smell (might be mould mentioned by others?). Bought some Fabreze to help.

Breakfast ok for me ( i only eat cereal & juice).

Had to make a quick call home to UK (about 40 secs) but they had no facility to monitor cost? i just gave them $5.00 and knew it would more than cover what is normally about $2.00, should be a bit more organized.

As i said it is ok, but we would not stay here again

I was excited in January to have two nights available in late August for a long time dreamed of family trip to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. We stayed here two nights. Upon arrival the staff who checked us in seemed a little suspect and I was actually quite concerned about the area given his demeanor. The room was clean, but outdated, odd, and smelled of low levels of mold. My husband and I had terrible allergies in this hotel despite having stayed 4 nights in two other locations prior to our arrival in this area.
Our first day we left the room around noon and did not return until 5 pm. We did not have room service, which was strange to me. The coffee in the breakfast room was horribly weak and the food was really inadequate. Fortunately, there is a steakhouse less than 1 block away that has a breakfast buffet for 6.99 - and in the reception area there is a coupon for 10% off.
The location is amazing for exploring downtown Jackson and I would stay there for that but don't expect anything too special.

Probably the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen! The rooms were large and although the furnishings were early motel style, it was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was ok, nothing special, but was well kept. Nothing was allowed to empty or even get close to being low, the lady in charge replaced the bagels, etc as soon as one was taken. The second night we stayed in a "tower" room which had a large balcony with a table for four. The view was amazing! I was concerned about noise since we were directly across from the Fire Dept, but not a peep.
The towels could use to be upgraded, but I loved the Bath and Body Works toiletries that were provided. The beds in the first room we had were not very comfortable to me, I prefer a softer bed. They have an indoor hot tub, but we didn't have the opportunity to try it out.
Overall we liked it enough to make a reservation for our return trip.

Great location in center of town. Friendly young staff. Building has a woodsy boardwalky Jackson feel. Had a very large room on the third floor with balcony that had table and chairs and nice views in 3 directions. Breakfast room is quite tight. Nice way to meet people as you share the tables. Plenty of on-site parking. Road to Grand Tetons NP starts right around the corner.

Room Tip: Third floor rooms are large and have a nice view

One block off the square and near all the good restaurants, it's convenient and reasonably priced. The rooms in the "tower" (three floors) are large with balconies, refrigerators and microwaves

Room Tip: Book directly with the hotel (and book early) for better rates

The location was perfect right off the main square within walking distance to everything in town. It looked as though all the rooms had view of Mountains south of town with most having a nice porch to sit on and enjoy the wonderful August weather. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was ideal in central area of town with easy walk to main square area.
