I had the elk and my wife the filet. Being from Chicago, we should have skipped the beef. Not bad by any means, but nothing special. The elk, on the other hand, was phenomenal. Perfectly medium rare. Great berry glaze. The outside was perfectly charred.
Service was ok. We ate at the bar but felt like we were bothering the bartender more than anything. Took a while for our food to come out as well.
Despite the service short coming, I would definitely return. Bar has a great vibe. Food was great.
