Owner description: This expansive gallery, on two floors, is open year round and features some of the finest landscape, animal and form photography in the West by renowned artist David Brookover. Here you can browse many photographs, printed on the finest mediums of paper in the world: platinum palladium, silver gelatin and bromoil. David is often at the gallery to interpret the photographs, to describe the emotions and the sense of wonder that helped him create them.

“The Brookover Gallery, best gallery in Jackson!”
Reviewed 17 August 2012

This gallery is amazing! It is right in the middle of town inside the Gaslight Alley near town square. The wooden decor really suits the town of Jackson hole. The photographer is often in his own gallery and will give you descriptions of his work. He is very friendly and down to earth. He is definitely an artist! He plays with a new style of photography incorporating black and white, platinum prints(don't know anything about it myself but very cool to look at!), and Japanese printing paper into his work. You can tell he travels a lot just from the various sceneries that decorate his wooden walls. Beautiful sceneries of Mount Fuji on one end of the wall and of the Grand Tetons on another. If not for the photography just visit the gallery to be welcomed by the friendliest dog in town!
