Description: Inspired by bakeries in France and beyond, Persephone Bakery Boulangerie and Cafe remains rooted in Wyoming, a local orientation expressed in our breakfast and lunch menus' focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The cafe carries a core collection of classic artisanal breads as well as a spectrum of sweets, from French croissants and kouing aman to cupcakes and tarts. To complement our creations, Persephone proudly carries Chicago-based artisanal roaster Intelligentsia Coffee. Housemade flavor syrups and European hot chocolate round out the barista bounty.

“Delicious baked goods”
Reviewed 13 June 2014 via mobile

Our family enjoyed an afternoon snack and breakfast at the bakery. The porch was a lovely place to enjoy an afternoon drink and the double chocolate cookie was delicious, rich and big enough to share. The chocolate croissant is one of the best I've had outside Europe.

“Best Bakery in Jackson”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

Highest quality pastry available in Jackson, on par with European patisseries! Lunch options are also delicious. Outdoor deck is wonderful in warmer months. Service is average, the place is small and usually packed.

“Delicious”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

On our way to Yellowstone we stopped in for breakfast & luckily they open 7am. The bakery is so quaint & inviting. A patisserie bakery reminiscent of one you would expect to see in France. The food is made using the finest quality ingredients & it shows. We ordered croissant sandwiches with egg, italian smoked prosciutto, gruyere cheese to go & some cookies for later. The food is made fresh to order so it does take time but I enjoyed conversing with the very friendly staff while I waited. The croissant was amazing. Light, buttery & flaky. The toppings were fresh & delicious as well. The chocolate cookie was to die for. The brownie like consistency with the rich dark chocolate flavor & the soft almost molten center was unforgettable.

Didn't have a meal but did have cookies. Would love to have a supply of these on hand all the time. Good for self or for company.

“Good but...”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

My wife and I ate breakfast here all three morning we were in Jackson. The food, selection, and coffee were good but the help weren't that friendly and they charged me about three dollars more the last day than they did the previous two days and were ordered the same thing every day!! I would have complained but they were busy and we were on our way out of town. Good food but that left a bad taste in my mouth - so to speak.

Thank you so much for visiting Persephone. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed it so much that you returned multiple times. I am so sorry about the mistake at the register. Unfortunately sometimes these things happen and we would have happily corrected the situation if you had brought it to our attention. We would never want to wrongly charge a customer! Again, thank you for your repeat visits and if you are ever in Jackson again come say hello and I would be more than happy to buy you a breakfast to make up for the mistake!

Best,
Ali
