Description: Inspired by bakeries in France and beyond, Persephone Bakery Boulangerie and Cafe remains rooted in Wyoming, a local orientation expressed in our breakfast and lunch menus' focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The cafe carries a core collection of classic artisanal breads as well as a spectrum of sweets, from French croissants and kouign amann to macarons and tarts. To complement our creations, Persephone proudly carries Chicago-based artisanal roaster Intelligentsia Coffee. Housemade flavor syrups and European hot chocolate round out the barista bounty.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch and we were very pleasantly surprised. Very nice fresh sandwiches and an excellent selection of pastries. There is both inside and outdoor seating. It had very efficient service and had a very nice atmosphere. Prices are reasonable

Throughout our search in town for restaurants in Jackson Hole we came upon this bakery and it reminded me of a European style cafe. It was quaint with a little outdoor decking area for eating. The menu consisted of breakfast and lunch menu with sandwiches, salads, several types of coffee and huge pastries.
The prices were in the range of $7-10 for the breakfast, $2-5 for pastry,$8-10 for sandwiches and $9-10 for salads. i tried their croissant filled with chocolate and their Asparagus & Beet salad with added chicken was wonderful.
If you like being outdoor and in no hurry, this is a relaxing place for a meal. They also serve different kinds of wine as well as sparkling drinks, teas, soda and lemonade.

"Best breakfast I ever had" Was said by not one, but two people we introduced to Persephone in the last month. The outdoor seating is the best as inside can get a bit crowded. On a Sunday morning expect a 10 min wait in a line out the door, order a meal -- get the Herbed omelet with the
potatoes and brussel sprouts -- and also a pastry from the case and a cup of coffee. Eat the pastry as an appetizer as you wait about 20 min for your meal (remember, this is for a crowded Sunday morning). My husband and I split this and are both very satisfied and ready for an afternoon hike.

They charge for coffee refills - it is quality coffee though - and limited space means this isn't really the kind of café you bring your laptop to and park at a table for the afternoon (unless it's the off season).

Gorgeous quaint bakery with a Hampton's feeling....without the attitude! Fantastic baked goods from sweet to savory. Delicious breakfast prepared fresh and excellent fresh coffee drinks. Get in line to order....but worth it.....so you can see all the yummy offerings in the case. Wonderful little patio in warm weather. Can't wait to go back. The S'mores are INCREDIBLE! We ate them with breakfast...what an indulgent treat!
