We grabbed a quick lunch here while shopping in Jackson Hole. The food was pretty good. My husband really enjoyed the elk sliders! Quick and easy place to eat lunch!

The Wort Hotel in central Jackson offers options for dining. Both the bar and the dining room offer food but with different menus available in each.
We had a drink, local beer and a glass of Californian Cab.Sav., in the bar before going to the dining room. The historic bar has 2032 silver dollars set into the curved countertop.
In the elegant dining room a mixture of booths and tables, interesting art on the walls, (do also look in the hotel lobby) complete with silver dollars set into the table corners, provide a pleasant traditional ambience in which to dine.
Our very professional and helpful waiter took our orders and it was not long before we were enjoying our shared dish of Oysters in their half shell.
One main meal was trout served on two varieties of Idaho potato, green beans on tomato with a tomato type salsa on the fish. Beautifully presented and cooked.
The other main meal was Blackened Duck Breast, sliced and served over a blue cheese whipped parsnip mash, with asparagus, eggplant relish and a cherry jus.
Both meals were excellent as was the Oregon Pinot which our knowledgeable waiter helped choose after our extensive questioning.
There are many tempting dishes on the menu which should provide a selection for most people. Only one vegetarian main though.
We completed our meal sharing a chocolate Lava cake complete with ice cream, berries and chocolate sauce. This was well presented and pleasant although the cake did not “lava” when cut into. Maybe we had been too spoilt after having the best ever lava cake at Sur Patagonico in Lastarria, Central Santiago, Chile a couple of years before.
However this very minor point aside this restaurant provided us with the best meal, service and ambiance during our stay in Jackson.
Would we go again? – Definitely yes

Loved to watch the dancers on stage, and many guys will ask you to join them...they are "master's" and you just follow their lead. Thank Goodness! Get there early to grab a table. It can be standing room only on weekend nights! Food was good, drinks even better.
