Snake River Park KOA and Cabin Village
Reviewed 21 July 2014

Our family stayed here in two Deluxe cabins July 19, 2014. Everyone was very friendly and the owners have really put in a lot of time and effort to make this a great KOA. Our cabin was brand-new, immaculately clean, and had the appearance inside more like a resort hotel than a cabin. We hope to make our way back to Jackson, Wyoming and when we do we will definitely stay here.

Room Tip: Cabins 38 & 39 right on the river & have propane grills.

We stayed in the pooh bear camping cabins on the hill overlooking the Snake River. These cabins are so cute, clean, and affordable; there is also a porch swing. The bathrooms are really nice and close to all the cabins. The staff is very knowledgeable about fun things to do around the area. We had a blast! Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I went to Jackson Hole for our Babymoon. We looked at multiple places for lodging before the trip. The reason we picked the KOA was for the cost. It was so affordable. Our cabin was clean and so cute. We loved it! The staff was so nice and helpful. The location was a bit outside of Jackson but it was worth the short drive. We plan on going back and staying here.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Honey Bear cabin. It was spacious and so clean. We had an amazing view that was clo...

Me and my wife stayed at Snake River Park KOA campgrounds after visiting Yellw Stone National Park. This is a great location to stay and see the Tetons. There is Snake River flowing behind the camp ground. Which felt great, just a few steps down and you are at the River. Cabins are very good. Facility is very clean. Staff is very friendly. I would highly reccomend to stay there and see the Tetons and white water rafting.

We absolutely loved the brand new cabin with a loft. The kids slept up in the loft and voted it the best place on our trip. Manager is friendly and quick to respond to any needs you may have. Loved the rivet closer by and the kids playground.

The online write up looked attractive but this was the least enjoyable campground we stayed in on our two week RV vacation. It would be better described as a cabin facility with a few cramped sites for RVs. We stayed twice and felt like we were living in a tenement facility since the trailers are jammed together with no hint of landscaping such as grass or trees.
We did notice that there were some lovely tent sites down by the river which looked pleasant but compared to other campgrounds we stayed in this is not a campground for RVs. It was also the most expensive location we camped in during our two week trip.
On the plus side, the front office staff was very courteous and helpful and if you want to do white water rafting there is a good tour service right there. Also took advantage of the horse riding stable just across the road which was excellent.

We met up with my husband's family here to do the Teton's and Yellowstone. We usually go camping, but since we were all meeting out of state, this was easier than hauling all of our camping gear. The cabins were adequate for our needs, we had a 4 year old up to a 70 year old. The dishes, pots and pans are NOT the same from cabin to cabin, so did a lot of "borrowing" to make meals. My sister-in-law gave management a list of the differences, even though we tried to even out the dishes from the two cabins we were at. The sun was hot and we brought a couple of easy ups for sun cover, We were told to take them down, even we did NOT stake them in, only sat them on top of the cement patio. The gas grills were not serviced, although large, one of the four burners did not work well. We would cook using two since the were only 1/2 efficient. Everything from cabins, to campers, to tents is shoehorned in, which is typical for KOAs but this one had it to an art. The WIFI SUCKS and you will have no cell service until you pull out onto the road. Great if you want to "unplug" but we were hoping to use the internet to plan our trip to Yellowstone. WAY too far away for Yellowstone, did a 16 hour day to visit just a few things, left at 7;30 am and returned at midnight. Find a spot closer or on the other side of Jackson Hole. Some of our party did enjoy the rafting activity that left from there. They also did something that NO camping site I've stayed at does, pick up your trash. Just leave outside cabin and they are always swinging by. My niece was our "extra" car and we paid accordingly. She had to park by the main building but when she was loading and unloading both times, an old guy gave her a hard time about it, which we complained to management. He still did it again when we were leaving.

Room Tip: Don't plan on using WIFI
