If you are tired of the pulsating crowds and overwhelmed by the tourist-chic shops of Jackson, come to the square and view the elk antler arches, sit at a bench, talk a quiet stroll and enjoy a change of pace in the middle of downtown. We did and found that five or ten minutes here was therapeutic. I visited Jackson thirty years ago, and this was the one site that, happily, hadn't changed and still felt "old West" in a charming way.
