All in all, the Lodge is pretty nice - rooms are decent sized, the complementary breakfast was very nice, and the pool with it's hot tub and soaking pool are very nicely appointed, and in-room amenities were well above average.

What you can't tell from the photos, though, is that the Lodge is in the middle of a retail/light commercial area - not out in the woods or even with a view of the Tetons. Although the rooms are nice sized, they aren't as spacious as the photos make them out.

Front desk staff was also variable - first couple of days, the guy we talked with wasn't particularly helpful - different staff towards the end and they were great.

Be sure to check the fine print when you register - they charge the entire amount of your stay in advance - it does say that they'll refund with advance notice, but we hadn't found the part that they hit my Amex card in advance.

Room Tip: Make sure you ask for a room on the third floor and ask what the view is out the window. I'd de...

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Bed and pillows were super-comfortable. Decor was very appropriate. Shower was huge, beautiful and had dual shower heads, including a rain shower. Breakfast was included and was far above the usual "hot breakfast" advertised by hotels. Crisp bacon, freshly scrambled real eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, fresh bagels and breads, and the usual cereals, etc. I did not use the pool facilities, but they looked very nice. This is an extremely nice hotel and I would definitely stay there again. I have one, tiny complaint: nowhere to plug in a device anywhere near the bed.

We just returned home after a wonderful 3 night stay at The Lodge at Jackson Hole. The pictures of the property are exactly what you see when you check in. The whole experience was incredible from the beautiful room, the amazing shower, the fabulous bed, to the best breakfast buffet we've ever had. The staff worked hard every morning to keep all the eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage and piles of fresh fruit well stocked. They also offered cereal, granola, bagels, bread, muffins (which were pretty dry) and other pastries, along with Starbucks coffee and various juices. Simply amazing! Everything about The Lodge was top notch and quality. A couple of things you should consider before staying here: It is a 15 minute walk into town. We did find a parking garage on Millward Street, which is about 2 blocks before you reach town center, so if you wanted to drive, that would be the place to park. There is an Albertsons about 3 blocks further south, in case you need some groceries. We loved every moment of our stay and won't hesitate to stay here again!

Room Tip: Choose a room with a fireplace. It was worth the extra few dollars!

Excellent service all round. A really nice room with a great walk in shower and all the facilities you would want. Jackson Hole is fantastic and although the Hotel location is a little outside the centre they offer to drop you off and pick you up when you go into town. We would definitely stay here again

The experience once inside the doors was WONDERFUL - beautifully appointed rooms, the breakfast was far more than just your typical hotel free breakfast, the staff was accommodating and friendly. Many "freebies" and upgrades that you don't get at your typical hotel.

However- by looking at the pictures one would think that this is a secluded mountain resort. Make no mistake - the picture is MISLEADING. This is a hotel at the edge of a commercial district part of town. Strip malls and banks are your view. For us, although we were disappointed, it was "okay" because we were just using it as a jumping off point for things to do and it was perfect for that - but if you were expecting seclusion you might be quite upset.

Let me begin by saying that we have had terrible stays in JH over the years. I wasn't happy about having to stay in JH during a 5000mile trip. But, this hotel was perfect. It sits about 3/4 mile south if town. So if you want to walk to main bars or shops you will have a long walk. That said, it is wonderfully quiet, very clean, and the rooms were exactly as pictured. We had a
King suite with pullout sofa. Quite comfortable. Real coffee from Starbucks not lousy hotel coffee.
We had a handicapped accessible room and the shower was huge with 3 shower heads. Loved it. The breakfast is excellent. Probably the best hotel breakfast we have had on this three week trip. We stayed two nights. This hotel has redeemed JH in my view and I would stay again. My insider tip: across the street is the Bread Basket and they make an excellent bagged lunch for $7 that us just perfect for sight-seeing.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We are excited to hear that we were able to show you what true Jackson Hole hospitality is about! Our centralized location just outside of the hustle and bustle of the Town Square is a great home base for all there is to see and do while also helping to keep things a little more on the quiet side. We do offer a courtesy car when available to help drive our guests into town and back to the hotel and we'd be happy to help the next time you visit. Thank you again for your great review and we hope that you will visit us again in the future!

We stayed here for one night in May 2014 on our way to Grand Teton and Yellowstone NP.
We booked a king suite, but I am pretty sure we were upgraded to a King View suite. Our view from room 319 was spectacular. Sunset was amazing and the view in the morning was equally amazing. We are from OK, so we don't get to see trees and mountains every day, so it was pretty much the highlight of our day.

The bed was very comfortable and made it all worthwhile after 7 hours of driving that day. The staff greeted us every time we passed by and made conversation, made us feel like we were almost family. The rooms are good sized and the bathroom is comfortably large. The shower had both the traditional shower head and the overhead rain type of shower head. It was awesome.

Breakfast was buffet style with all of the typical types of food, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, cereal, bagels, etc.

The lodge is about 1 mile from the town square, so it is not in the center of the town, but we had no problem getting to town square or finding parking. That may be due to how early in the season we went, but I prefer the off season anyways.

We would definitely stay here again when we return. Thank you for an outstanding experience.

Room Tip: Get the "View" suites, it is worth every penny.
